::Some of the employees there don’t notice when they talk customers are paying attention from what i heard when i was buying my daily purchases . One of the managers name “Keon” has relations with female employees that work at the store and once they have had enough of him he starts retaliation looking for any and everything to get them written up or in trouble , also buying female employees he interacts with food , drive them home or even leave with them after work .recently one of the employees reported him for sexual assault and guess what ? He still works there and so does the female . Also few months back an employee was arrested for a rape charge. Talk about a corrupted store. I will no longer spend my money in there

::Thank heaven for this place, right across from our hotel. Since no place in NYC offers milk with any of their cookies or pastries, I went here to get some. Open 24 hours so you can get stuff late at night.

::Never ever ever ever order anything here. Seriously avoid it like the plague. Three times in a row I’ve come for a simple/common medication - 3 times they told me they couldn’t give it to me... after pushing back a lot and escalating they discovered it was under another name. A name a gave them to check. Their mistake. They hire incompetent people. Avoid!

::Walked into Duane Reade and told the cashier that i bought half and half here the yesterday and it was bad so I was going to grab another one. I didn't have a receipt nor did i have the container. I am a rewards card member so i figured they would either just give me the half and half or at least look up my account and then give me a the credit. Here is where it gets good. The clueless cashier called the "manager". Along comes KEON the manager. He asks what the problem was and I explained the situation clearly. He then began to question me as to why i don't have a receipt or a that i should have called the store when this happened. My reply was, "are you really going to to this?" My girlfriend explained that she had thrown out the receipt and the carton but Keon wasn't having it. He continued to question and point fingers saying it wasn't his fault that the cream was spoiled "how could it be spoiled" if the expiration date was 3 weeks away? I explained to him that when dairy is exposed to higher than allowable temperatures, it spoils. He was not convinced. He introduced me to the refrigeration guy and said I was accusing him of not doing his job properly. I wasn't having it anymore, this guy was really pissing me off, he said "listen BUDDY" I stopped him immediately, KEON and I are not buddies. I finally confessed that it was my fault that the cream was spoiled and apologized profusely. What finally happened was the cashier ran my card and saw that i just purchased the cream and gave me the credit, very simple. Why the F did i need to go through all that? To all the higher ups at DR. Get rid of this guy, and for that matter get rid of the entire front desk cashiers, they are all rude as hell and stupid to say the least, i could write forever.... but Keon, he's a liability and has not a clue as to how to treat a loyal DR customer for over 15 years!
