  People say New Yorkers have no heart that is just not true. I was at a restaurant and my son had an allergic reaction to something he eat, ran to Duane Reade, got some benedryl but left my wallet at the restaurant. The AM shift took my word for it and gave me the benedryl. I would like to thank you Duane Reade off of 79th and 2nd, the morning crew on Sunday for helping me. If not I would have been at the ER. Thank you Duane Reade, we are all grateful for all you do:).

  This Duane Reade has a great selection of stuff, but the management is horrible, no customer service, cashiers are rude, I also tried to return something and I was treated like a criminal! I have never returned anything before and these people were awful. So are gone the days of good service.

  Horrible service. I was in the store and charged the wrong amount for a magazine, which I noticed upon walking out. I showed this to the clerk and he fixes it by giving me a return card with the $3 on it. No big deal. On my next visit, I try to use the card and they tell me I can't use it on that item because I'm buying Silk, a "dairy" product. I fail to see how my being charged the wrong amount on a previous purchase should impact what I can purchase with my refund. The manager was not at all friendly about it.
