  I had a great experience at the salon. The woman who did my blow out was extremely patient and took her time with shampooing and hair styling she did an amazing job.

  One hour wait for reservation + aggressively pulled hair (my head still hurts) + poor customer service = never going back. Absolutely horrible, don’t waste your money.

  Unprofessional unpolished stylists who do not listen to your requests. Going through the motions screaming to each other about their personal lives and blow outs never last more than a day. Waste of money, time and a complete disappointment. Have actually tried 3 different stylists and all bad results. Not returning again. Not even sure why I gave them 3 chances, guess I really wanted to like this place.

  Since July of 2016 I had been a frequent customer, coming in for blowouts once a week. They had a good set of girls working there before. Since January of 2017 the whole staff changed and blowouts were awful. I could have done a better job myself. Why bother showing me this book if you can't do any of the styles. One girl literally broke all the ends of my hair off because she was brushing my hair so hard. Another girl blew out my hair and the back was still damp. I filed so many complaints in hopes of them putting me with better stylists like I use to have last year but no never happened. The management does not care and the "main office" gives you comp blow drys. I don't want a free blow dry. I wanted them to get it together and train their staff properly. I have not been back since April of this year and felt I needed to leave a review since, I canceled my membership in April and I just realized I have still been getting billed. They really need to get it together. People know quality services and stylists and now this place can't seem to keep staff or have any good management. Its sad.

  The only reason it gets 1 star is that most of the stylists are young, hardworking fun girls, but this place is horrible. I gave it a few tries thinking I may have just had one-off experiences, but after today I will never go back. NYC is full of great stylists..they need better talent. Today while having my hair washed the girl literally scalded my head. I screamed and jumped and she just smiled mumbling a quick apology. She then yanked my hair throughout the blowout, and the finished product looks like a teenager did it. I do a better job at home with a straight iron. If I didn't have a photo session in the morning I would have left - my scalp is still red 30 min later. Midtown (or literally anywhere else) is way better - save your money, time and skin.
