Love it here! It has old school charm. The building is beautiful with the old woodwork and elevators. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The free breakfast hit the spot too! This is definitely a place to stay!

my wife and I went there for our anniversary weekend and the staff was absolutely amazing. I brought a bottle of champagne with me and asked the lady at the counter when I checked in if they could put it in a bucket of ice around 8 that way when we got back from our dinner reservations it would be ready for us. When we got back sure enough it was sitting in our room in a bucket of ice with two glasses right next to it. The hotel itself was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was within walking distance of all sorts of different sites such as the Historical Museum and the Riverwalk. I would definitely stay there again. Also the breakfast in the morning was excellent. It was more like a buffet with actual people cooking the food for you instead of going down to the cafeteria and making it all yourself.

Fantastic hotel!! Historic structure, great views; they have a great happy hour kickback with food and drinks, and a hot tub that overlooks the river. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time!

The service was amazing. Although I am struggling to remember his name (maybe Carlton?), the breakfast attendant/happy hour bartender was amazing. Such a great guy with a good voice too! Our room was clean, spacious and quiet. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous, historical hotel. Quiet rooms. Excellent food. It's worth the extra expense for an upper floor river view. The additional security measures to access the guest areas is also very nice.
