  Davy Bui runs the Drunken Loaf out of his family home, where he mixes, kneads and bakes the most delicious bread you've ever eaten. You get hooked by the cheesy "Goddess" loaf, made using gruyere cheese and sesame seeds and which lasts about 15 minutes in our household, but then you stay for the others - white, wholemeal, rye etc. Savvy people know when he bakes and when to buy - nothing like a still-warm loaf, good yellow Kerrygold butter and (preferably) home-made strawberry jam. For Davy, this is a passion, not a job and it shows in the product. Buy from his house/shop or at the Oak Park farmer's market on Saturday morning. It's the easiest thing in the world to park and pop in. Just don't take all the bread!
