As a Los Angeles local with my own home, I've visited DragonflyHill for the urban gardening, yoga, and breakfast. Nice, hard-working people. Once you get here, you can tell why they call it a community and not just an urban farm. Also, this is the best disability access I've seen in a private home: Spacious, nice places to rest, a neutral sensory environment cleanly separated from the garden. Some of the rooms are upstairs but the team is very up-front about that. When people I know are visiting LA, this is where I recommend them to.

I have had the real honor to work as an employee with business that lives by their standards. Not only has it been a real privilege, as so many business are driven by exploitative, disposable culture, but an experience that one cannot compare due to their inclusiveness, integrity, compassion, and willingness to help in any way shape and form. I wish that they continue their doors open because we need more homey stays such as Dragonflyhill Urban Farm.

I was served a home-cooked full breakfast (eggs, sausage, fresh fruits, bagels, etc) at the table of the owner where all the guests and BnB workers shared a meal. It was a great time for the international guests to ask questions about local attractions. The owners, 2 retired school teachers have gone out of their way to create an accessible (I am disabled), inclusive, multi-lingual environment. The spacious and charmingly decorated rooms in the historic hilltop home are clean and comfortable havens of privacy while the common areas of the home (including a large parlor) offer a community setting. The view from the Frieda Room gave me an expansive view of the city. I have been to this BnB on multiple occasions and plan to return. Very good value for the price, and excellent hospitality for guests of any country who enjoy community.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, und irgendwie sehr familiär. Das war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und sehr schöne Tage in Los Angeles. Leider viel zu schnell vorbei
