  My school-aged niece had a 3pm appointment with Dr. Stephanie Lee, DMD. We arrived by 3:05pm. We waited patiently to check in while others in front us completed their transactions. By 3:16pm we were finally seen by the receptionist who quickly informed us that our appointment was “missed” because we arrived 10 minutes late. Even though we arrived in time for our appointment. Dr. Lee declined to see my niece. I expressed my dismay to the Office Manager – specifically about a policy that does not consider the shortcomings of their own office (note, we waited over 10 minutes to check-in). I’m writing this review because I have never heard of a situation where a Dr. specializing in Pediatrics would refuse to see a patient that arrived 5 minutes late. Especially when the office is empty AND you have back to back appointments with the same Dr. That’s right, my other niece had a 3:30 with Dr. Lee. Perhaps Dr. Stephanie Lee was in a bad mood today. Or maybe this is just how Dr. Stephanie Lee treats her Medicaid patients. Either way, it wasn’t a good experience and we won’t be going back. Avoid Dr. Stephanie Lee and until Zufall Health Center changes its policies, avoid them too.
