  Sadly, I tried to see my regular physician today and I was unable to get in to see her. They scheduled me to see Dr. Rowena Murthy.. Went in had blood pressure taken, all the normal protocol, asking the reason for my visit and was told the doctor would be in shortly..Doctor sent her nurse back in to say that what I described was not a good enough reason to be seen by the doctor. What I described to the nurse was minimal as I normally wait for the doctor to disclose more detail about by medical concerns and the purpose of my visit. I was stunned! I told the nurse that I hoped they did not expect to be paid. She said the record would be voided.. So this person, because I do not consider her a doctor, will not receive a recommendation by me. She should not be practicing if she does not want to see patients. I do not go to the doctor unless I have a very good reason and the nurse commented that it had been nearly a year since I had been seen. I am still in shock and it has been approximately 30 minutes since I endured this god awful experience. I am nearly speechless and sitting here shaking my head as I type. Please, please, please avoid this so-called "doctor"/ (internist) like the plague...if she doesn't feel your condition is worth her time then she shouldn't be worth yours or mine!!!!! One star is one too many for Rowena Murthy!!!!

  She abandoned care for my wife, refusing to provide her with critical medications, causing her multiple sclerosis to flare up from the stress and anxiety she caused. This doctor is very young and does not listen to her patients. She thinks she knows everything already.
