::Great Dentists. I have been a patient in Dr. Abreu's office since 2002. I have always had a great experience with the dentists and staff. They are all very friendly and professional, and demonstrate great attention to detail, explain everything carefully, and show a genuine passion for their work and care for their patients. I have several family members who are also patients in their office, and I would recommend them to anyone.

::I just had a brief first visit with Dr. Mahvassh Abreu, and everyone was completely pleasant and professional. I specifically asked about the $25 fee to get your x-rays that was mentioned in Tim's post, and they told me that there is no such fee -- its free to get your records.

::Went to Dr. Mahvassah Abreu several times and liked her as a dentist. Would recommend on that issue. Am now a former patient and when I called to get a copy of my x-rays - a process they admitted was no more than scanning and emailing to me - they charge $25! Clearly they know we need those records and are going to slap as high a fee as they can because we have no choice. I was disappointed by this preying on former patients - it's just not necessary and is bad business. Beware.

::... until they tried to browbeat me into signing a waiver saying I would not sue them for anything. I'd never thought of it until they insisted I sign it before they'd give me a cleaning. In fact, they became downright rude and brutish when I said I was confused about why a dentist needed me to sign a waiver. I've never heard of this. Sorry, I'm not letting anyone who's like that stick sharp tools in my mouth.

::She rushes you in and out and doesn't actually take the time to review x-rays and provide thorough exams. On my last visit she asked if I was happy with my previous cleaning. I was honest & said not entirely and felt that my teeth could have been cleaner. She got so upset that she wouldn't talk to me and started slamming things around the office.
