  One of the worst experience you could ever imagine! The Short Version: I went to do retreatment for a root canal to save the tooth and after she ruined it and get paid in full she recommended extract the tooth! AND WITHOUT issuing a refund!!! The Long Version: I visit it June Chang at Mission Hills Endodontics to check a tooth that I had a root canal for it since she is an Endodontics, I thought the tooth had a sensitivity to cold/hot but it turned out it wasn't the source of it! At the start, she did an exam to check the tooth and she said it wasn't the source of the discomfort that I was having but it wasn't done correctly and if I didn't fix it I would lose it within few years! I told her if that's true I can go to the same doctor to fix it for free (since I already paid for a root canal) Chang said since the doctor who did it wasn't able to do it correctly the first time she will probably fail the second time! When I agreed to do it, The actual cost was higher than what I was told over the phone and what shown on Cigna website (My Insurance), they said that the retirement cost is more than a normal root canal, they should have mentioned that over the phone when I asked them, especially that I have told them it's a retirement for the root canal! How is the retreatment which is done in one session for 1 hour is more expensive than the original treatment that took 4 sessions WITH a permanent Filling! Anyway, After she is done and put a temp filling she told me to wait for 4-6 weeks to fully heal before going to your general dentist for a permanent filling AND she doesn't recommend a crown for this tooth because it won't last for long!!! Why would I pay for a second root canal (more expensive one) if the result is the tooth will fall off in few years. The tooth didn't heal and start hurting me I went to my general doctor and she told me that it had an infection I called Chang and they gave me antibiotics and something else for the pain, of course, the pain stopped and the tooth get better for a while when I finished the pills the tooth started to hurt me at random times I am unable to eat on it at all because it will hurt me and if the food little harder than normal it will hurt me bad. I went back for a 3rd visit to Chang and her professional opinion was to take the tooth out, I told her the whole point of my visiting her is to FIX and SAVE the tooth not losing it. I told her to try a second retreatment to save it and she refused! I told her to refund the money so I can go visit another doctor that might be able to fix what she did and she also refused! I went to her to check a tooth that was alright (It wasn't hurting me, I was able to eat on it and had a permanent filling) and get it ruined (It's hurting me now, I can't eat on it and it have temp filling) and I already used the insurance for the retreatment so I can't visit another doctor to clean her mess. I wasn't warned before coming to her but if you are reading my review then you have been warned and you have no excuse to make the same mistake. Sorry, it's a long review and best of luck to you.
