Love this doctor! Dr. Becker is great at explaining everything and keeps you at ease. He is very professional and courteous. I highly recommend him to family and friends.

This doctor is one of the most pompous and arrogant doctors I've delt with in years. This man does not know how to listen to his patients. Just understand that what he has to say is much more important than what you are feeling and what you have to say. Because he has all this wisdom there is no need for him to listen to you. To top it all off, I had to pay in cash because of bad information from banner in the first place. (Banner is another poorly run hospital but I'll focus on the doctor for this review) But I would have happily pay double if I was treated with integrity and respect. But Dr. Becker does not know how to treat people with respect. Who knows it could be a cultural thing with him, he sure acted like he was better than me. Because of the way he treated me, I didn't trust him, so I saw another doctor outside of UMC banner. Thank God I did because he misdiagnosed me, can you imagine that? I had to pay to be humiliated and aggravated as well as challenges all the way just to get the wrong diagnosis! So if you want to be treated well and get a doctor that listens and cares...Do Not see Doctor Becker. Find a doctor with good reviews and more than one. This doc had one review now two with mine. I hope people speak up and tell the truth about this guys bad skills.

Before I comment on Dr. Becker, I want to say something about Banner Medical Center. There's not a scale low enough to rate them on. If you care about your health, go somewhere other than Banner. If your loved one need medical care, if you really love them, don't take them to Banner. Also, if you have Tricare, or any insurance that makes you pay a cost share, don't go to Banner. I'm a 100% disabled veteran, so I have Tricare. Since I have to see numerous specialists, I chose Tricare Standard because I don't have to wait for referrals. Anyways, if I need to have surgery, I have to pay 20% of the cost unless it exceeds my cap. However, I'm supposed to pay the 20% after the surgery that way I don't have to wait to have it done, and that way they can make a payment plan that is affordable for me. Even though that's what my insurance contract says, Banner doesn't follow it, so they make you pay them upfront or else they won't do the surgery. If you're a veteran, go somewhere else. You could be homeless, or dying, and they will just tell you to come back when you have the money. As for Dr. Becker, I can't say enough as how he's a great doctor. I just had surgery last week, and I'll most likely have another one down the road, and I'm glad I have him as a doctor. He's very professional, methodical, and genuinely cares about your health. I was severely injured and have had over 50 doctors, but he's the only one to ever call me to speak to me about test results and my medical care plan, so that really is something I respect him for. If you look hard enough, you could find faults with every doctor, but as a veteran, I live by the core value of integrity first, so unless he did something to where I think he could be putting someone's life in danger, I would not lie. Not everything will be perfect, but the good outweighs the bad, and as a man, I would never speak bad about him because he truly is a great doctor. He's also from the UK, so if every doctor in the UK is like him, then they should have the best care in the world. As a prior history major, and coming from a family that has had family members fight in every war, I'm actually glad that we saved Britain in WWII, because he probably wouldn't be here and I would have gotten stuck with some average American doctor. All jokes aside, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Becker to anyone. He's the best doctor I've ever had, and his medical staff is just as good as he is. I've never had a problem. I hope nothing ever does happen to my daughter, but if she ever needed care, I will automatically take her to see Dr. Becker because that's how great of a doctor he is.
