  I went to Dr. Berenthal less than a week after I had an eye exam by another optometrist because she refused to prescribe me the brand of contact lenses that I preferred. The experience that I had at Dr. B's office was extremely different. It was much more extensive and lasted about 3 hours (with my previous appointment being no more than 8 minutes with a 40 minute wait beforehand), involved him actually speaking with me and informing me about my options, and a glasses fitting. My only complaint would be the wait. I waited about half an hour but it was worth the wait and I would highly recommend him as he is a very knowledgable and kind physician who is great with patients.

  The best eye doctor that I have ever gone to, very detailed oriented, thorough and takes time to explain and review all options with you- best!!!

  The Doctor is amazing. He is very thorough and he checks for everything and i mean everything. The staff is very nice. One thing i have to complain about is when the exam is over the doctor pressures you into buying glasses you dont even want. The gentleman that sells glasses is very outgoing but very persistent which is annoying. Aside from that they have a great selection of glasses. I recommend to be seen by the doctor.

  I have been going to Dr. B for over 6 years and have recommended him to family and friends. Professional and friendly, the staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help and advise. Dr. B is very thorough and detailed and incredibly competent in his field. It is a pleasure going there and knowing that he can take care of your eyes, and if need be, refer you to a specialist without delay. And he has one of the most original and funkiest assortment of glasses available in the area!
