  Update review. I placed a review and Dr Mac was able to get us in which that was our complaint. I brought 2 kids, 1 with obvious cavity that has been bothering her. No x-rays were taken, Dr Mac made no mention of the cavity which is dark until my daughter pointed it out. We know she has other cavities but without x-rays hard to tell. I now have to take her to another dentist pay another exam fee to take care of this. I have always loved Dr Mac, it was how the office was being run. After this last visit, seeing how my kids said she was cold shouldered I will not be going back.

  Let me start off by saying I will never ever bring my child to dr.mcanthony or refer anyone to this lady ever. The way she treated my child who is nervous around doctors regardless of gender really upset me to the core. When walked in she never greeted us just told my 5 year old to come to the back. Which in fact this was his 3rd visit of which i ive only been to one with beside this last visit as of yesterday. She wasn't polite, she has no patience with kids, she made my son more nervous by the way she spoke to him. She accused him of of not liking women of color, and told me my son had behavioral problems because he was nervous and scared. Apparently she has no patience he is a child not every child will come into your office mcanthony and not be afraid. I initially thought she was joking around but then i realized that this is not a joke when a parent brings her kid in for a service and is treated so rudely i have never had anyone treat me and my son in this manner, I had to keep my composure, she told me to bring my son elsewhere because he was afraid...WOW!!!although i didnt need her advice on that.She is way to aggressive and walked away while I was still trying to talk with her and ask questions but this was my fault for letting her mistreating us go on for as long as it did, i should have grabbed my child and left. so I had to talk with her assistant. As a pediatric dentist you really need a lot more patience. All kids are not the same and a kid doesn't have behavioral problems because they're afraid of dentist and doctors. HORRIBLE COMPLETELY HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM HER. I will say Her staff was wonderful.

  We love Dr. McAnthony. I am surprised by these bad reviews. Her office is very kid friendly, her staff is kind and she is fantastic. My kids love going to the Dentist and it is all because of Dr. Mac! Please try it for yourself and don't go by these reviews. It is difficult to get an appointment for a reason. She is the best!

  I love Dr Mac, we have been going to her since my kids were little. She would see three at one time in her old office. She is very personable and always remembered me when I brought my kids in. She talked to me like a friend not as parent of a patient. My kids are on there dad’s insurance which Mcanthony is not a provider. My kids and I loved her so much I paid extra to cover them on my dental insurance so they can continue to see her. The kids loved her. When they moved to the new building the it became less personable. The front office is very rude, and getting an appointment is impossible. I have called several times now it it was 3-5 months out to get them in for a cleaning. So we have been dentist shopping.

  I really thought she'd be more patient with a three year old than she was. Screaming. Tears. And not a single word of comfort from the dr. After about 30 seconds of shoving a mirror into her gripped closed mouth she told me that we had several cavities. She was not friendly, zero bedside manner, and I'm so upset that I paid for that 2 minutes with the dr. I should have refused. That was in no way shape or form an exam I should be charged $70 for. I need to call and complain for a refund. Do not try this place.
