  This dentist is a scam artist. The dental assistant does the cleaning and he walks in for 10 seconds and looks at your teeth for 3 seconds at most and that's it. Worst dentist ever. On top of that he just sent a bill for $590.00 for a regular yearly check-up. Totally absurd. Filed a dispute with the insurance company.
