  Downtown vintage is owned by the most humble person/barber I have known till this day. Very professional and very passionate about his profession. Have been going to them ever since 2014 and will keep them as my barber shop to go to. Thanks Jorge for always taking care of me and must I say. They also accept walk ins and do appointments as well.

  Easily among the top barber shops I've been to, after a long process trying different ones. I was recommended the barber Jorge by a friend. I called on a week day morning asking of his availability, and he was able to do it the day of. I headed there in the afternoon slightly before my appointment, and he was right on time, and even recognized me somehow! This is a stark contrast from other places I've gone where I will call in advance, talk to someone, come in for the appointment on time, wait, and some time later finally be acknowledged after bringing up the reservation (again). As far as the haircut goes, it was also one of the best I've had. I gave basic instruction and showed a picture to Jorge, and he completely nailed it without having to ask questions or anything. It's obvious he really knows what he's doing. Jorge really wowed me with his professionalism and well spokenness. There was no forced conversation or awkwardness despite it being my first time there. The environment is very laid back and the guys there all seem to get along well with eachother. The prices are fair at $20, and parking is behind the building (same parking lot as the Bunkhouse Saloon). Overall, I would highly recommend this place, and Jorge in particular if you're looking for a good cut in a chill environment!

  Second time to get a clean cut without all the fuss! Fidel R. was the young man who has now worked on my hair twice, both times out doing all pervious Barbering Shops I have been to over my lifetime. The moist, hot towel with the skin moisturizers left on just long enough to relax. A straight razor used with just the right amount of finesse to flick a few stay hairs in to that clean line of a 'perfect' hair cut. First time I brought my wife with me to make sure the cut was done correctly! NEVER, has a barber been able to do the job correctly on the first pass, without my wife pointing out an area that still needed some sort of adjustment. However; this young man, working at a men's traditional barbershop was able to not only do this. He also got a smile from my wife! Making the rest of my day very pleasant indeed. I will be honest, I am not one for giving a tip to someone for doing their job. Especially in a service industry like being a cashier at a restaurant or a barber. I feel that you are paid an hourly wage, salary, or commission for your work that I shouldn't "have" to reward you for DOING your job... However! Mr. Fidel, I did tip. The first time and again today for not JUST doing his job, but exceeding in my expectations! Thank you! So if you are needing a trim and are tired of not getting a decent cut or just plain frustrated going to a "hair salon" where it smells like nail polish because of the so called extras... Then go see the guys at Downtown Vintage Barbershop & Shave Parlor and relax in their chair! knowing that it will be what you asked these guys to do and that it'll be next to perfect.

  First time here and I'm quite satisfied with my cut. I had an appointment at 1:30 but wasn't seen at 2:00pm but it was well worth the wait -- given the fact that I did the appointment a couple hours before. Will be coming back again.
