  I showed up to my 11:30 am appointment, and the lady at the front desk said it was actually scheduled for 10:30am; she also said it was confirmed by me. I was so confused. I told her no, I didn't confirm it; I had gotten so busy and sidetracked that I had forgotten. And she said well it shows that you confirmed it on my computer. By then I was even more confused.  Appointment at 10:30 a.m.? Confirmed? I literally thought I was losing my mind.  Standing there in disbelief, I luckily found the voice message from their office stating my appointment was scheduled for 11:30a.m.!!  I played it out load on my speakerphone so she could hear it.  Then she said, "Oh yeah, that's my voice on your voice message; but it must have been moved to 10:30am because you didn't confirm it."  I told her I've never had a company do that to me before. She said yeah because we get really busy with a lot of walk-ins. Again, I'm confused; I'm here at 11:20a.m. and I had scheduled my appointment for 11:30am. So I asked, "Well, can I be considered a walk-in now?" She said No, Dr. Berschler is booked for this whole week; you'll need to reschedule.  Who does that to people? Am I literally just a number to their office? Is that how they treat new patients?... Obviously! I would have easily confirmed the appointment if I would have received a message via text or email. However, I had to call the office back; and I just got so busy and sidetracked that I forgot. First of all, if you are going to move my appointment without telling me, why not move it to a time that's after 11:30 a.m., not before 11:30 a.m., so that when I show up early for the time I had scheduled, I'm not told my appointment has already passed. And why not call me and let me know that you moved my appointment? Better yet when the office is calling to confirm the appointment, why don't they add in the message that the appointment will be cancelled if there is no call back.  Also if you validate parking, it would be nice to let patients know ahead of time so they know where to park! I paid the parking meter for an hour and a half, but I was only there for 10 minutes. Is the unprofessionalism just in Arizona or does this kind of stuff happen in every state nowadays???!!! In addition, while you're sitting in the lobby you can see all the patients that are in the back getting their teeth looked at.  The guy just past the reception wall getting his teeth flossed... kind of gross; no privacy at all for the patient's. It's just one big room back there.

  Best dentist I've ever visited. My first experience was just a cleaning and it wasn't the "omg get me out of here" type of visit I'm used to. Audra was the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth. I could tell she was quite skilled at her job because there was little to no pain or discomfort, even with the x-rays (when the plastic usually tries to slice your cheeks open). She also made sure to answer all of my questions throughout the visit friendly and patiently. My personal favorite part was that they didn't try to push anything on me...fluoride, invisalign, etc. That's something that happened at EVERY visit at my old office and I appreciate that at this practice, they inform, not persuade/force you to do anything. I definitely recommend this dental office to others.

  I had been going to another dentist's office for over ten years when I had to make a switch due to moving. I am so happy I found Downtown Phoenix Dental. Lori, the dental hygienist, is always so kind and professional. Dr. Berschler is great too! Most people get nervous when visiting their dentist's office. I, on the other hand, look forward to it!

  I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff were very kind and knowledgable which overall helped my first trip here be a positive one. I will definitely be returning.

  Always a great experience when my children and I visit for our routine exams and cleanings. I've had fillings done here and my son has had a baby tooth extracted, it was easy, & painless. Their appointment scheduler makes every effort to get you in asap and the communication is superb! Dr. B is sincere and down to earth. The office space is artfully decorated and everyone is friendly. My kiddos love it here and so do I. The location is convenient especially if you work downtown. Parking is located below the building and can be kind of tricky to find but once you do it's an effortless ride up the elevator to the dental office just be sure to get your ticket validated.
