  Great venue downstairs and cozy lounge upstairs. Staff is extremely helpful and genuine. Will continue to frequent this place! Keep up the good vibes doug fir!!!

  I am rating it on the food I had, which was the burger, which was grossly overcooked. It was almost hockey puck status. The fries were just ok. With that being said, my table mates food was very good. One got the Mac and cheese and roasted beets, both very good, and the other got the pork schnitzel. I didn't try it, but it was very much liked by others. I also think the dinner entrees are way over priced, which is why I got the burger, as that was the cheapest at $13. The schnitzel was $20. Not worth the price. Just stick to the starters. The lunch menu might be better as well.

  I only go to Doug Fir for the music so I can't say anything about food or drinks. But for music, the sound quality is amazing! And it's a really beautiful space. Sadly, they don't have the same variety in music genres that they used to a few years back. It definitely gets crowded and people can be rude and annoying, but there are tables lining the perimeter and once the music starts, it can drown out the drunks, unless they are in the crowd. I have had to ask people to stop talking loudly during shows and have been met with glares and childish behavior, like stepping on my feet or intentionally bumping into me.

  Not a bad time. Relaxing atmosphere. Open pretty late. Service was decent. Bar tender could have been better.

  Vibe varies widely depending on the show downstairs. On a non-concert night it's a chill bar with well made drinks. And a hotel adjoining in case that should become relevant to you...
