Very nice but also casual hotel conveniently located in downtown. Views of the limited skyline. Room service available. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Mini fridge, safe, coffee maker, flat screen TV, fitness center, indoor pool with hot tub. Friendly staff.

When there was a couple minor issues with my room, they took care of me and gave me an upgrade. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. I found the staff very professional and accommodating. The decor is beautiful in both the lobby and the rooms. I did not have a chance to eat there or have drinks, but the whole restaurant area looked enticing and nice.

For the price, this hotel was okay. It met our needs but nothing spectacular. Our room did not have a mini fridge, or microwave. The room AC did not work well (as I had to turn it down to 65 degrees for many hours to cool down the room). I went downstairs to the laundry room to use the microwave and I found teenagers loitering in there. They moved to the pool area then the parking garage. The were not paying customers nor did they have a room. They were loud, rude and rapping loud music to make.. what seemed to be a music video. We told the receptionists at the front desk and she didn't seem to care. The plus side is, they do hand out cookies at the front desk which is nice. Ask for a warm one.

bar looked super fun although I didn't go in. The room was clean and comfortable; very spacious. Of course a fresh cookie on arrival means that you don't mind the few minutes wait to check in! Best part was that the elevator doesn't dding as loud as in many hotels - I hate waking up when you hear it arriving :)

We stayed at the DoubleTree to attend my niece's cheer competition at the Convention Center. The location was perfect. We could walk to the center through the corridor. The rooms were nice. Our kids loved the indoor pool. The breakfast buffet and coffee were great. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are coming to an event downtown.
