  The rooms and pool are nice but most interactions with the staff were less than pleasant. The front desk had a hard time with simple requests like extending a room for a night and providing a zero balance receipt. The restaurant manager was quite hostile while dealing with the breakfast buffet, despite the fact that it was included in our room rate and we were there for 5 days. Every day the waitresses were baffled with how to deal with it and she would come out and berate everyone in earshot.

  On our visit, we were let down by the pool not being open due to remodeling. We did not find out about the pool until we had arrived. The staff, which was very nice I must say did mention we could cancel at not cost to us. The issue is it the other hotels were now at a higher price point for last minute booking or simply just not available. Then on the second day I was showering and the water pressure just disappeared. After using 2 water bottles to rinse off, I called down to the front desk and they had told me the crew working on the pool had hit a water line and had to shut it off. I have stayed at this location on 4 other occasions and unfortunately this time, I was let down. If it wasn’t for the staff always being accommodating, I would have put a one star for this visit.

  Really nice hotel in a great area of Tucson. Lots to do, with restaurants and pool on site and Reid Park Zoo within walking distance. Great service, nice clean rooms, and quiet. Perfect for business travel. I will be back on my next trip to Tucson.

  Good location some friendly staff and some not so much. Looking past that I guess my stay here was okay. There's a cantina on site, great drinks! Cozy room dirty carpet though. So... sad the pool was under maintenance but it is what it is. Landscape is good. I don't like how you can hear everything from the lobby in the conference room it's a bit distracting.

  Checking in was quick and pleasant. Our room was a different story. Initially walking in we were greeted by that "old motel smell". The carpet was wet and it made it uncomfortable to walk across the room in wet socks. We were unable to use the bath tub because the tub stopper was broke and just laying there on top to look normal. When I picked it up to move it out of the way so my child would not play with it, it was covered with black slime/mildew. The drain was full of it too and a ton of black hair. I took pictures and wish there was a way to upload to show you. We will not be staying here again... We expected a nice clean room for the price we paid.
