I'm writing this for my wife whom is so upset she cant even talk about it anymore. She arrived on Tuesday April 17. Checked in with online app for a digital key. After a long day of traveling across the country for this business trip, her cell phone was out of battery power so she went to the front desk. They issued her a key to a room and she stayed in this room for two nights. Upon returning home, we noticed that two rooms have been charged to us for her stay. Mistakes happen so no worries we'll just call them she said. Huge mistake. We spoke with Z*** ( I won't use his full name here) who initially did a 5 min "research" and came back on to say that both rooms had been used and that we they will not be refunding anything. After spending over 30 minutes on the phone with this company we were told that they will call back today (we'll see if that's true) and that the Manager J***** B******* will be calling us tomorrow (we'll see about that as well). I will be filling a dispute with our CC company. I will let the Better Business Bureau know of our very disappointing and what I consider to be criminal treatment by Double Tree Hotels and their staff. I will add to this post if I receive anything from them.

I've stayed here many times. Great location, good breakfast, expensive bar. The rooms are nice and the location is good. Great for business meetings or sports. The subway to the stadium is right across the street. I wish they had balconies and a diamond member lounge. I also don't like they charge 25 dollars a day for parking, but what are you gonna do?

The HHonors suites rooms are very nice and wonderfully laid out so that you're generally not up against another bedroom. This dampens the noise from nearby guests. The front desk is super polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept. Easy walk from the Pittsburgh Penguins arena and across the street from the subway to the other sports stadiums in Pittsburgh. Overall a great place to stay.

No mini fridge, which was a bummer when we came home with left overs. The pool is cute and is open til 11pm, which was great. No spa, sauna, or hot tub, which was disappointing. Not the friendliest hotel front staff, but the housekeeping service was super kind and thoughtful towards us. Yummy cookies and overall nice hotel with great views and easy access to the city. Expensive parking, since you could only do valet, but you get in and out privileges.

Comfortable hotel in the heart of Pittsburgh with extremely helpful staff. On my arrival, I was warmly welcomed and quickly checked-in. Soon after checking-in I received a personal email from the director of the hotel welcoming me and offering to meet with me to ensure my stay is enjoyable. That shows how much they care about their guests. The interior is well appointed and clean. Parking is available, Turn into the parking garage from Centre Ave. They will valet park your car. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel and plenty of great restaurant options within walking distance. The only drawback is the 9 foot ceilings in this hotel, which is unfortunately common in buildings built in the 1960s. It can feel a little tight. However, the bed is comfortable and the shower has hot water with good pressure. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
