  Friendly staff at the front desk when I checked in. Extra points for the cookies and bottled water. I pre selected my room and it was ready, top floor at the end of the hall. The room was as expected, nothing spectacular but certainly nothing wrong. It had a balcony which was a nice surprise and good to enjoy with the San Diego weather. My room faced a major highway and I thought road noise would be a problem but I slept well in the comfortable bed. In the end, I would stay here again.

  The hotel was in a prime location. It was walking distance from some great bars and restaurants. Staff was incredibly nice. Rooms just seemed a little old with some paint chipping in the bathroom and in the room. But overall they are nice guestrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

  We used my husband's Hilton's honors points for this hotel. I'm not sure that we should've. There wasn't even a refrigerator or microwave in the room. The view, the bathroom, and the bed were awesome. It's close to some restaurants downtown. But we didn't feel like eating at a restaurant after a 10 hour drive, and there wasn't fast food within walking distance. It's $25 a night to park. It was clean and quiet but I’d rather stay at another Hilton, maybe by the beach.

  Nicely updated and maintained hotel in an older structure. I like the idea of warm cookies and a free bottle of water for guests. It's mind-blowing how much that really helps guests feel welcome, even if the cookie was bland and the water unfiltered. Pros: clean remote, plenty of places to plug in, hair dryer, complimentary water and coffee available in the lobby, close to little Italy eateries, bed was soft and comfortable (I prefer firmness myself) Cons: no refrigerator, no accessibility devices for the deaf and hard of hearing, air conditioning was not working in the conference room, the bathroom sink gurgled when the tub was draining.

  The hotel is very clean, the bathrooms are reasonable. This seems like mostly a business hotel; the baths are small, the sink is small, there is no mini fridge. The Pool closes at 10:00pm, which is kind of a bummer because it would have been nice to unwind before bed. The walls are pretty thin, like you could join in your neighbor's conversation whenever you want. Everyone seems nice and I would stay here again.
