  When we pulled up, the valet/welcome person hocked a lougie and spit it on the sidewalk by my car. They charged us incorrectly and argued about it instead of fixing it. We asked for a rollaway bed, they put the bed in the middle of the room vertically, they didn't even set it down. I asked for 3 extra pillows, they brought one. We went to the bar/restaurant for dinner & the waitress seemed annoyed that we were there. We had to ask for menus, then napkins, then silverware... The food was good, at least. The staff at this hotel is the bottom of the barrel. Not a smile from a single employee, not in any way welcoming, everyone seemed miserable, like they hate their job and they're genuinely put out to do it. I would only advise a person to visit here if they want to be depressed and see what the worst hotel staff in the world looks like.

  Love it here. Front desk employees were very nice. The restaurants in the hotel food is tasty reasonable and plentiful. There's even a full mall at the hotel! Room is very clean and smell really fresh. Your stay at this hotel will be a happy one.

  This is a clearly older facility. Upon arrival, attempting to use an electronic key for a room I selected prior to arrival and self-parking I got conflicting instructions from the parking attendant and desk requiring me to go to the desk and again back to the parking lot a second time and check in the old way anyway. To be fair, the desk staff were apologetic and went out of their way to fix the issue. Somehow I ended up in another room I hadn't picked which is no major deal, but I figured out the air conditioner wasn't working so well, I wasn't given my breakfast coupon for my breakfast deal and my room wasn't the most pristine or well appointed room I've had at a Hilton property. One of the beds had a stained duvet (I decided to sleep in the clean looking bed instead. There was were marks on the toilet tank like somebody had set coffee or a drink or toiletries there. The worst part were the teeny tiny ants who emerged from under the coffee maker in the morning after I used it to heat a cup of water. I informed the desk. The beds weren't very soft. The sink vanity bottom shelf was damaged and looked old. Clearly needed repair. My first and last visit to this particular property. I'm sure the desk would have moved me, they we're so eager to make things right upon my flubbed arrival, but the point is I pay to ensure things are right the first time and most properties I stay at do manage this. I was disappointed as I was hoping I had found a new option for my Miami travel, but sadly not here.

  The horror! This hotel is an insult to the Hilton brand name. I stay with Hilton hotels almost all the time and this is by far the worst one among them. I had booked 4 nights here and I was welcomed to a pee-stained toilet seat on day 1. I called front desk only to be assured of immediate cleaning (and not even an apology) but the cleaning service didn't show up until I called again after 10 mins. Then I kept discovering more horrors as my stay progressed. Roaches in the room, unclean bath tub, hair strands on bed sheets and random valet parking charges even when I didn't even have a car - this has got to be the most mismanaged DoubleTree I have visited. After screaming at the front desk, they asked me to contact their manager through an email ID and I did but that just fell on deaf ears. The hotel staff's indifference speaks louder than the loudest thing you would have heard. It's better to sleep in airport terminal than to pay and stay here.

  Clean hotel. Good bed and bedding. Friendly staff. The lunch buffet was awesome. Fresh and very well seasoned. The deserts were moist and perfectly sweetened. Lunch was definitely the best hotel food I've had. Very impressed with this place.
