  Apartments looks nothing like the pictures. Becareful, they are not really good in communicating you about 30 days notice before you leave. Also had a problem with bugs in the apartment and it took them 3 trips to fix the issue. Ac make me a large noise. Walls are super thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors. For a new bucks monthly you can stay across the street at a newner apartment complex. Come and see it for your self. It’s in a great location with horrible phone service if you have at&t as your cellphone provider. Laundry doesnt change money to quarters. You would have to make a trip to the bank to get some quarters. Pool is also always dirty. As you can see I don’t have many good things to say about this apartment complex. So make your choice wisely.

  The ground for Double tree are absolutely gorgeous and the apartments are just as nice! The complex had a great atmosphere and was very quite for being as close to the road as it is. Irene was the representative that showed my boyfriend and I around and we have never felt more welcomed! It was an all around great experience!

  These are older apartments (maintenance records posted in mine dated back to 1983) and definitely need some love and elbow grease but for the price, location, and management it is tough to beat. The apartments themselves were a solid mix of college students, young adults, and the occasional family and if you live on a bottom floor unit, you tend to hear your neighbors moving around but that is pretty par for the course anywhere. The real reason for the five stars is the management team, specifically Alec and Phil. They are incredibly responsive and effective in getting documentation, maintenance crews etc in a pretty timely manner. The longest I remember having to wait for maintenance was 36 hours for non emergencies, and emergencies were done same day, usually within 1-2 hours. I needed to move because of outstanding personal reasons, but I would definitely consider the Doubletrees again

  I absolutely despised my nine months at Double Tree Apartments. I believe my apartment was incredibly old and not maintained well, it was building 17. My biggest complaint is how thin the walls and roof were. I often got woken up by my neighbors upstairs between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Sometimes it was because they were just stepping around and the roof creaked loudly. Other times, I heard things I wasn't supposed to-- when they fought or made up. During the day I could even hear my upstairs neighbors sneezing or coughing, that's how thin the material was. Halfway through my time there, my roof in the bathroom started leaking. It left ugly yellow stains and the paint peeling. The cabinets were incredibly ugly as well, with some sort of yellow sponge creeping around the doors and my restroom cabinet also had some water damage. One time-- my restroom faucet broke and the water was running full blast for the entire day until maintenance fixed it. Then they forgot to install a part of it. For weeks after that, I had to brush my teeth and wash my hands with incredibly hot water. Everything seemed outdated. I looked at the model apartment before signing, but I don't think I paid much attention to it thinking it was just an apartment. Once I got the keys to my apartment, I immediately disliked how outdated everything seemed. Even the fake tile in the kitchen was peeling or cracked. I never enjoyed my time there-- didn't even bother decorating it or buying furniture for it because I just wanted to get out ASAP. I even hated the door because it was heavy and old. I had to kick the door open. Also, every two weeks maintenance will use leaf blowers like at 7 a.m. It woke me up often but I thought it was normal they start working at that time. I moved to Santa Fe Apartments after that and I've never seen the crew use the leaf blowers so early in the morning. I actually feel much more happy and cozy at Santa Fe. They will really work with you. For example, I didn't like having carpet. Santa Fe offered to put in wood floor for a small extra fee. It's also cool cause the restroom is not in the bedroom, it's separate. It also seems much bigger than my apartment at Double Tree and it's almost the same price.
