  Really good value for money in SoBe - especially if you're lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the suites - and the staff is friendly. The cleaning staff is very competent and helpful. Do watch out for their weird parking policies when checking in/out: we narrowly escaped being charged for expensive parking for the full stay (I had a rare moment of getting really upset!), although we only parked there one night and explicitly said so during check-in. The pool is a bit worn down but seems clean enough. The hotel location is really convenient and the complementary beach chairs are a plus. The neighbouring restaurant/bar is alright and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

  We had nothing but good experiences at this hotel. My best friend and I (early thirties, female) stayed in a room with two double beds, recently renovated. Decor was nice, floors were new. The bathroom had not been remodeled, but it was completely sufficient for our needs. The rooms are on the small side, but plenty of space for the two of us. House keeping did a great job everyday, cleaning up The sand we inevitably tracked in. Javier the bartender is charming, and the $1 happy hour mixed drinks are a great deal! The bar/restaurant manager was fantastic as well. The food at the Moreno attached was yummy. The pool is not the fanciest, but it was clean with nice plantings around and bigger than anticipated. We loved spending time there. Very close to the beach and the chairs and umbrellas are worth the hotel fee. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  The rooms and lobby were okay and clean compared to most of the dirty rooms in South Beach and the staff was nice. But the pool and the gym are NASTY and DIRTY. The entire place could really use an update and paint job. Our actually room was clean but most of the furniture needs to be replaced and the mattress in the pullout couch was TERRIBLE. Also the walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the surrounding rooms and outside. Most of the other guest were very questionable! Loud, rude, drunk, and our room smelled of weed most of the time because of the constant smoking in the surrounding rooms and I’m the court yard. F your a light sleeper this is definitely not the place for you. Constant yelling, people arguing, and loud music outside in the courtyard at 2am and later!

  Great small hotel, great location! The suites are great for families. The separate kitchen/ dinning is a real plus. The decor is in keeping with the character of the building, a little tired but adds to the charm. The team is helpful and house keeping spotless. Court yard/ bar is super with some live music nights. Pool is great and I would come and stay again!

  Would definitely stay again! The hotel itself is so cute and clean, the room and bed were more than sufficient. The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is right on the strip, and they have passes for beach chairs and it's only a short walk to the beach, the pool area is nice and the restaurant Morenos downstairs is delicious and convenient, we loved enjoying the scenic courtyard area. This place has it all!
