  It's a place to stay with great prices, friendly staff, and clean rooms. It's nothing fancy, but they have muffins and fruit for breakfast and it's quiet. No loud parties and super close to the beach (pretty much everywhere). It is an older place, so the bathroom was a bit tight fitting for my 6'4 partner.

  Stayed here based on previous reviews......bad mistake! Room is 1950’s small,hardly any electrical outlets and ones in bathroom kept blowing and could never be used. Basic doesn’t come close to describing this place. Weird smell in room....mold? Free breakfast was a joke....a few muffins, cereal and some yogurt. The final straw was that after a shower and walking around room for a few min. My feet bottoms were black with dirt!!!!! The cost for this experience was high compared to what you get at this place. Do not waste your money here, unless you are fine with filthy rug, smelly room, poor free breakfast, and a room with no amenities. Basically a HUGE disappoint and a dump.

  No frills but really who needs them when vacationing in San Diego! Very very clean well maintained. Nice location. Great prices. We started out here for a whale watching trip. We ended up staying 3 nights to see the sites. All we ever need is a nice clean place to lay our head.. Loved the staff!! This place was very nostalgic. Reminded me of the place we always stayed in Florida as a child!

  This motel is perfect for people who don't plan to spend much time in it. Across the street is a wonderful small restaurant with AMAZING clam chowder and other fresh fish food. Also, the boats are there, and there are many Sea Lions. My grandfather and I loved to go there early in the morning every time we visited San Diego. The rooms are quite simple, but they are more than suitable. They are clean, and I personally love the beds. I don't know. They are just very easy to sleep in. It was always lovely to have that salty-air kind of smell in the morning. Also, they provided us with very good Costco muffins. (The chocolate ones are great). My family will not go anywhere but here. I look forward to returning.

  Cute motel right by a marina and nice restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Area was very quiet. Nice hot shower but you have to wait a really long time for it to get hot. $20 key deposit which you get back upon leaving after they look at the room with you and make sure you didn't leave a mess. Complimentary breakfast was cute and the coffee was on point!
