::Learn the secret knock (AKA make sure to have a reservation because it can get quite busy). Great ambiance, we really enjoyed the live music on our first visit, thou they don't have live music every night. Cocktails were delicious, they have a great variety. It's a great place to go out for drinks with friends after dinner.

::This place is amazing! Truly a hidden gem in Wichita. Located in the basement of the Ambassador hotel, Dockum is a modern day speakeasy. From the moment you step off the elevator and spy the wood door with grated peephole you know you’re in for something special. Their drink menu consist of specialty concoctions they’ve come up with. They are mostly spins of classic drinks but with a twist here and there. You can also order up traditional drinks and beer and/or wine. During my visit I had the Old Smokin’ Cody which was their variation of an Old Fashioned and it was really good. The food menu is limited and it’s mostly finger foods. I had the Preservation Board which is their take on the meat and cheese board. It was very good and very filling. Certainly enough for two to share over drinks. The night I went (Wednesday) it was pretty slow and I was able to easily get a seat at the bar. However, my understanding is, normally, you need a reservation, especially on the weekends. To me Dockum is all about the atmosphere but that atmosphere comes at a cost. You should be prepared to spend a little money as the drinks are not cheap. Don’t get me wrong, you’re getting a premium experience but you’re also paying a premium price. Price aside, if you want a different bar experience look no further than Dockum, I highly recommend it.

::Great atmosphere. I have been wanting to go here for while and finally got a chance. The entrance way is really nice and when you enter the bar it looks amazing. The cocktails are superb. I ordered a Duke of Earl it was amazing. Highly recommend this place it is definitely worth a visit.

::If you're going for beer, you can go anywhere else. But if you want an outstanding cocktail, this place does it. Great atmosphere too. I had the El Kabong and it was perfect.
