Clean, open, modern with very nice rooms. ..or The Whale (the restaurant within) Was HANDS DOWN the BEST restaurant I have ever enjoyed in the whole city and surrounding areas. I had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks here and would recommend anything on the menu... oh yeah the hotel. Centrally located on the Boulevard walking distance from bars and shops, with a roof top balcony for smoking or conversation great views of the river and station square. The hotel is a 4 minute walk to the T station which connects with everything you need if you don't want to drive. If staying here I would recommend parking in the Paid lot next door the attendant is very attentive and will put your car wherever you need it to be, but I left my car there and walked the city.

Really great hotel at its price point. We had the cheapest room, which means we got a very small one. But it was nicely designed and everything worked well. The bathroom is especially well planned, and the product line is excellent. The shower had great water pressure (the sink, not so much). The room is so small that you can't leave luggage out and open easily. And the closet has little room for clothes. But these small issues. The location is excellent. The staff friendly and capable. Exceeded our expectations.

I stayed at the Distrikt Hotel for a weekend recently, and while the hotel is beautiful with nice clean beds and great soaps, I think they need some work in the hospitality/management department. I opened my bank account the day after my stay and saw over $1000 in 9 separate pending transactions in random increments on my card from the hotel when my stay was only supposed to be about $200 with a $50 incidental deposit. I left a message for the General Manager and they never even called me back nearly a week after my stay. When I called again, someone named Candace was able to explain to me what had happened and she was really kind and was great with assisting me. I also had an issue where I found that the towels were never changed in my hotel even when I left them on the ground. I thought that was peculiar when I came back late on the second day of my stay and also reported this. The hotel provides 2 bottles of spring water for the coffeemakers, and when I went to make coffee, I found one of the two bottles had been opened and partially consumed about 1/4 of the way by someone else, so whatever housekeeper that worked on my floor allowed the room to be ready with a half used water bottle, which is really unprofessional and disappointing. I have yet to hear any follow up from the General Manager regarding the towel or water bottle issues, but I was happy there were some great staff who understood my concern and assisted me. I could care less about compensation or anything like that, I just wanted someone to hear me and hopefully correct these issues for other people. Distrikt is beautiful and well done, but I would not stay again because of the poor housekeeping and management issues. Accidental transactions and mistakes can happen, but not hearing anything from the manager directly regarding this was disappointing.

Very nice hotel at a very reasonable price. Modern decor with a comfortable inviting lounge area. Front desk was very helpful in changing out my room for another with a better view of the city. There's a cool terrace on the roof which we visited but couldn't enjoy too much due to cold weather. We will return!

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and slept great. The mattress was super comfortable and the room was very clean. It was small but cozy and had everything we needed. Only complaint was housekeeping didn't show up until about 5 p.m. and the room was quite dark but overall was great. The terrace was beautiful and the lobby was trendy and fun to hang out in. Would stay here again!
