  This used to be my favorite liquor store in the area, with a great selection, low prices, and friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service. Although the selection and prices are still about the same, customer service has gone WAY down with the recent change in ownership, so I'm taking my business elsewhere. Clerks are often on the phone, are not very knowledgeable, and rarely give receipts. The last straw was when I asked for a recommendation on a reasonably priced Cabernet Sauvignon, and had a bottle of Papi recommended to me. Once I took it home and opened it, one sip told me it was NOTHING like any other Cabernet I'd ever tasted (or my son, for that matter). A quick Google search confirmed that it was considered to be "oddly sweet" for a Cabernet, something I think the clerk could and should have warned me of. I never drink sweet wines (a blood sugar problem has put me off the taste of sweet drinks), and was relying on the clerk's expertise to guide me. When I returned the bottle (at least 95% full), the clerk said she'd have to check with the owner (who is only there in the morning) about getting store credit. I have left my phone number with them twice over a 2 week period, and the owner has not had the courtesy to call me. So, I'm concluding that customer service is of no interest to him, nor does he care if I continue to be a customer. So, from now on I'm going back to my old favorite, Twin City Wine & Liquors (49th & Bergenline), which has a friendlier staff, and even better prices on some items!

  Best liquor store in the entire Hudson county!!!! not even exaggerating it! They seriously have a HUMONGOUS variety of beers from really exotic and foreign to dollar beers from USA. DOUBLE THUMBS UP FROM ME! 5 STAR AS WELL. KEEP IT UP GUYS.

  The owner is the best. He is more than willing to help you find anything you are looking for. Great delivery service .
