First of all, I experienced THE MOVE FROM HELL! 72 years old, going through cancer treatments; packed, taped and labeled everything in my 3 bed-house by myself. Spoke to Phil first contact. After giving him all the details of entire house, he suggested that I would need 2 men and one truck at $89.00 an hour for 6 hours. I disagreed with him, he sent John (estimator/supervisor) to look at entire house, he suggested 2 men 2 trucks at flat rate of $1,000 for 8 hours. My daughter was paying for my move and wanted 4 men, 2 trucks for 6-8 hours, which was agreed to by John. She gave Phil her credit card (living out of state) for $500.00 and I was to pay the remaining $500.00 in cash, all before any moving took place, and I did. The time was set for 8:00 am start. I was 1/2 late due to extended chemo treatment, which I called John at 7:00am to say that I would be late. The move began at 8:30am. The forman looked at the items and began the move, which consisted mainly of boxes. One of the men took off his shirt and I had to look at his naked upper body the entire move. He began to complain, (he said he was hot, thirsty, and hungry AND was continuously, belching out loud ) along with the other 2 workers who were loading the truck (who were loud, and using profanity. The foreman who was packing one of the trucks and not aware of the guys that were in the house. I told the shirtless guy that it was not my fault that he was hot, thirsty and hungry and asked him what did he want me to do about it and he said that I could give him a "tip". Well I paid for the entire move upfront and did not think that I had to provide food and water in addition to a "tip". I'm doing all this by myself and my neighbor heard them complaining so she provided water and food to keep them going, as to finish the move. They took a 15 min break. After loading garage, patio (which items were also left), and boxes inside house, the forman closed one of the truck doors and said they were done and leaving (still space left in truck) which the remaining items could have easily fit, and getting ready to drive to the destination, (my storage facility). They left kitchen glass table, already boxed and labeled (seats 6 people) 6 chairs, several other heavy kitchen items, and 3 large mirrors. A blue small suitcase was taken from inside a larger suitcase was sitting by the front door, it disappeared later, I never found it. I got in my car and went to the storage and the 2 trucks with my items inside, was not there, showed up 20 min later at the gate which the storage manager was asking where were the trucks so he could open the gate. John, the superviser showed up and demanded that I pay another $78.00 for being late the 1/2 or they would NOT unload the second truck. I had no choice but to go to the bank have my neighbor meet me at her bank to borrow the cash and return to the storge. (took 45 min) After all was said and done, I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN HOME DEPOT STAND-AROUND GUYS, RENTED MY OWN TRUCKS, much cheaper. I then had to rent a Uhaul truck and 2 movers to move the remaining items at a cost of $300.00. Phil Gullion 702-895-9555- OWNER John Gilman-206-914-4812- SUPERVISOR NEVER, EVER, use Discount Movers. Literally, the MOVING company FROM HELL!

I've had a pleasant experience with Discount Movers. Alex, and Brian were friendly, accommodating and professional. They took the time to uninstall the mirror that was attached to the dresser, and reinstalled it once we moved to the house. My sister and I packed everything in boxes ahead of time before the arrival, which made the move a lot easier for the employees. My sister tipped $20, and bought some Gatorade. I would highly recommend Discount Movers. I spoke to Phillip himself, who encouraged me to ask questions regarding the move and sent an email regarding the specific details on how much I was going to be charged. He was upfront and honest about everything. Out of all of the moving companies in Las Vegas, Discount Movers has been by far the most affordable. I'm going to utilize their business again in the future.

Best experience with movers I have ever had, I had 2 young men take care of my belonging so carefully and took pride in wrapping my glass in blankets and sealing up any boxes still open. Overall happy with the affordable price and fast paced workers, they took care of me and i took care of them. They wrapped everything I asked and positioned everything where I desired. I had no problems or damages to my property, very happy with John and Jake for there excellence. I got what I paid for, excellent movers at a lower price then some others around here.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!! The movers are kids age 20 and stole a phenomenal amount of personal items from my house including jewelry, luggage, expensive shoes, prescription pills. Also cracked my mirror which was NOT replaced, made a tear in my sectional sofa and broke a TV. The so called β€œowner” will stop dealing with you hoping you’ll go away, and as far as the kids moving & stealing my stuff with proof on two cameras, police reports have been filed and a charge back on my credit card was complete. Please if you care about your belongings like we all do, do yourself a favor and do NOT trust these people!!!
