  Wow! Diana was amazing. I found a dress I loved, but the designer was out of business. I brought that photo and my re-design ideas to her and she helped me select the best fabric and custom designed my dress that was really a dream realized. It was so comfortable and so me. I had so many compliments. You need to trust her- she is decisive and gifted. I am very type A and organized, and Diana is artistic. Her ways may seem unconventional - but just let her do her thing, you will not be disappointed! I can not thank her enough!

  I would give six stars if I could. Diana is an artist. She knows her craft and, while she sets realistic expectations, she finds creative ways to make gorgeous gowns. When I met with Diana, I was torn between two concepts for my wedding dress; I wanted to wear my mother's wedding dress, but I also wanted a dress that reflected my own style. My mother's dress was straight from the '80s, with puff sleeves and a 6-foot train. I trusted Diana to completely deconstruct the original dress (with my mother's blessing), and build a new dress using only material from the original. She listened carefully to my preferences about the design, and suggested crucial modifications given my body type and the fabric we were using. She must have spent hours hand-sewing the Portuguese lace, which formed the top of the dress, and then proceeded to recommend other details to bring the dress together (all covered in the initial price estimate). In the final fitting, she clearly wouldn't settle for anything but a perfect fit. It was all worth it. A year has passed since our wedding, and - unsolicited, I swear - friends and family are still bringing up how stunning the dress was. I have carefully packed the dress away, with the faint hope Diana will be available to deconstruct/reconstruct for the next generation. Through this process, I also came to respect Diana as a woman of many talents. She has written a couple of excellent cookbooks and is passionate about her charity work with orphanages in Vietnam. A truly inspiring woman all around.

  Thanks to Diana, my wedding dress was everything I'd hoped for and made me feel like a princess on our big day. I can't even count how many people asked me who designed the dress ("Monique?","Vera??") and I was pleased to share that it had actually been custom-made for me. I can't recommend Diana's services highly enough, as she truly helped me every step of the way; for instance, at the final fitting, Diana didn't just make tweaks to the gown, but she helped me select a veil that would best accentuate the dress and provided me with information on how to keep it intact during travel. If you've been searching high and low for the dress of your dreams and are still coming up empty-handed, go see Diana--she'll work with you to come up with an exquisitely crafted, one-of-a-kind style for your special day.

  Diana is incredible!!!! I looked all around for my wedding dress, but kept getting frustrated because I couldn't find what I had in mind. Then I found Diana. We spent an hour or so designing the dress from my ideas and with her fantastic input, and it was ready for the first try-on within a month and a half. Amazing, considering the ready-made shop down the street charged rush fees if you were ordering within 5 months of your wedding. When I put the dress on for the first time, it fit perfectly and I thought it was just too beautiful for words. I didn't want to take it off. And it's so special to tell people I had the dress made for me. I would recommend Diana to anyone.

  I needed a bridesmaid dress made because the bride gave all of the bridesmaids fabric to get them made ourselves (bad decision on her part). I had never gotten a dress made before so I went to Diana's Couture and asked her for advice. I told her that I wanted something simple and not too pricey. She made a sketch, which looked fine, and she sounded very confident that she would make something I liked that would look good on me. I took her advice and believe her because she seemed to have a prosperous shop and I like to leave details to the experts. When I went for my first fitting I was not pleased, but I let her make some alterations. When I went for my second fitting I realized that I was going to hate this dress no matter what. When I think couture I think of something elegant that fits well. This dress was neither. It is the worst fitting dress that I have ever had. I am disgusted. Four hundred dollars for a dress that I have to get rid of. I am almost positive that I could have done a better job myself (I am pretty crafty). Maybe I was not given good service because I am younger than most of her customers.
