  DiCarlo Salon & Barbership was wonderful to work with for my wedding day! I would highly recommend them to any bride with a wedding downtown. Rae is absolutely the best - I could not have asked for a better stylist to work with. After showing her multiple pictures of hair and makeup, she mashed them all together so my hair and makeup were perfect for my day.

  Hidden gem. Switched to DiCarlo as my go-to after I walked in on a whim. Been going there for the last 6 months after I got a great cut the first time. Would recommend to anyone.

  I can't say enough great things about this place. After moving to Milwaukee 2 years ago from the east coast, I spent a solid year skipping from spot to spot in hopes of finding a barber with the skill set of mine from back home paired with a salon that had a great vibe. Once I came across this place, I looked no further. Not only are they doing the nicest cuts in the city, but they're doing it at a totally reasonable price. I love that I can pull up their availability late at night if I'm looking for a last minute cut the next day. The staff is incredibly polite and upbeat and Jason always has killer recommendations on new products that will benefit my style. Thank you all so much for being the spot that finally gave me reason to look no further!

  How times have changed. I had gone here for ten years, always seeing the same stylist. But just days before a recent visit I received a call explaining that my stylist was no longer there. I kept my appointment, and received service from one of the owners. The cut was not good. It did not match my style of ten years, and the experience was "uncomfortable". The place was a ghost town - evidently they "cleaned house". Not sure why. This is a service industry and the personnel are a key ingredient of that experience. Luckily I Googled my former stylist and found her nearby. I am so happy to have found her! I hope this place finds its way again - it is not the same and I don't know that it ever will be.

  Amazing prices! $20 for a standards men's hair cut. They have options for straight blade shaves and other services, too. Each haircut comes with a straight blade trim of your neck, which I thought was really great. I wish there was a way to tell the level of experience of each stylist, but I've never had a bad experience. Parking around there is a pain in the butt, but that's true of most places without a parking lot. There are parking garages in the area, though - so just go early and chance street parking or find a lot and you'll be fine.
