  Quality of food is good. The price is what you expect to pay anywhere in downtown Phoenix. Service could have been better. This is NOT the Downtown Deli that closed down after many years of service to the downtown area.

  Sampled fried chicken and french toast with some wine for the Urban wine and jazz walk. We also ordered the reuban, beef & cheddar sliders and deep fried pb&j. Everything was delicious and well priced!! They also have card and board games you can play at your table! Over all awesome atmosphere and great service.

  Absolute awesomeness. We were on our way to Valley Bar and went "ooh flamingos let's have one beer here." 83 pints of Genessee later, we knew we'd found our home. We felt welcome and entertained, friendly funny staff, they sure looked like they knew their way around a craft cocktail but what can I say I love cheap beer. It was fun to watch them make fancy drinks anyway! Menu looked amazing, we were super sad that we had stuffed ourselves with meatballs & cheese curds right before we got there. I will report back on the food after I go back & eat some. Looks & feels like a neighborhood bar that has been there for decades, even though it's quite new. A lot of places do that "faux dive" thing that you can smell a mile away, but this joint gets it right. I was truly impressed that it was new. Great place, love everything, will be back.

  All I can say is that “it was great” to walk into this little restaurant and not be disappointed after a long day of traveling, a bit upset about our luggage getting lost, and now to the point of starvation. We entered into a very nice, comfortable atmosphere and were immediately greeted and seated. And shortly after we were given our menu, this little basket of the most addictive homemade, thick cut potato chips landed on our table....My mood immediately started to change. The service was excellent and my burger (the deli burger) was scrumptious (no need for ketchup nor mustard on that baby). I was highly satisfied. I recommend this place.....if your hungry or moody!

  "Welcome." Been here a few times already. Loved each experience so far. It can get a bit busy and noisy, but it's not too bad. Last weekend we went and had the place almost to ourselves, which was odd, so you never know how packed it might be :) The 50 cent coffee and other super affordable menu items are great, and the other stuff on the menu is reasonably priced as well. Food is decent overall, but the atmosphere and staff are definitely the best part. Everyone who works here is pretty great. Oh, they have a decent beer selection as well!
