  Just an overall outstanding experience in learning a new skill and talent with Deanna. She is super talented, and has a world class eye. Her understanding of Millinery and the way she shares with you the information is very warm and wonderful. She is a terrific teacher, talent, craft person and all around artist.   I took a class with DeAnna on fedora making and it was such a fun way to spend the weekend! She has extensive knowledge of different hat making techniques, styles, materials, and construction. Plus she has a lot of hats around her studio for inspiration. She has lots of hat blocks for all different head sizes and styles and lots of different felts to choose from as well. Additionally, her classes are small so every student has enough time with her. Would definitely recommend!

  My friend and I just took Deanna's Straw Hat Draping workshop. It was amazing! Deanna is so knowledgeable and patient! Not only does she walk you through each step, from design to completion, but also explains a bit of history and reasons for the techniques! Deanna is very warm and encouraging. Her studio is a wonderful, inspiring place to create! At the end of this two day workshop we felt very accomplished and had beautiful, unique hats.

  I recently took a two-day class from Deanna and it was just great!! She was welcoming, her studio is awesome and her teaching-style is wonderful. There were 4 of us in the class and we all ended up with a finished hat by the end of the second day. I would recommend her classes to anybody wanting to learn from scratch or just to gather more information about hat-making.

  DeAnna has made several beautiful hats and head pieces for me. Her pieces are always custom and of the highest quality. She has amazing skill as a milliner and is great at figuring out what is the best piece for you. I can't recommend her highly enough.
