  Nothing but headache after headache dealing with the workers. Service with a snarl seems to be in the case workers job description. I have given up trying to deal with tbem- which may be their goal. Still waiting to receive card 8 weeks after getting approval. No results after after 4 follow up visits. e

"""Thank you for calling ..... we're sorry but all of our operators are currently providing assistance to other callers, plz hang up and try again later "" CAN NEVER GET THRU TO ANYONE!! THEY NEED TO GET E-MAIL AND VOICE MAIL!! EVERY SINGLE WORKER IN THERE!! THEY RUN THEIR SYSTEM VERY POORLY!!! THEY NEED TO GET E-MAIL AND GIVE THEIR EMAILS OUT TO THEIR CLIENTS SO THAT, PEOPLE LIKE ME AND OTHERS DON'T NEED TO STAND IN LINE, ALSO, THEY NEED TO GET A FAX MACHINE AS WELL, SO THAT, WE CAN FAX IN OUR DOCUMENTS INSTEAD OF, ACTUALLY BEING THERE!!! HEY, MARC MOLINARO, IF YOU'RE READING THIS... PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT BUILDING!!!! TY!!!

  yeah, here's a review, THEY HAVE NO EMAIL - THEY NEED TO GET E-MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE HAS E-MAIL , WAKE UP DSS!!!!! THE WORKERS DON'T USE EMAIL AND IT SUCKS!!! EITHER THAT OR THEY WONT GIVE IT TO YOU!!!! AND THE WAIT LINE IS TERRIBLE!!!!! OH AND, THE PHONE SYSTEM SUCKS!!!!!!! NO VOICEMAIL EITHER!!!! THEY USED TO HAVE IT!!!!! WHAT HAPPENED???? 1 - THEY DON'T USE / HAVE EMAIL AND THEY NEED TO GET IT 2 - THEY DON'T USE VOICEMAIL - AND THEY NEED TO GET VM!!!!! THEY USED TO HAVE VOICEMAIL!!!! ________________ P.S, HERE'S ANOTHER REVIEW, WHY DO THEY CALL PPL ON THE PUBLIC WALL PHONES AND NOT MEET WITH PPL IN PERSON OR JUST CALL PPL ON CELL PHONES????   Very rude individuals. The lack of care for the people they give benefits is disgusting. Repeatedly claim they don't receive the forms that are sent to them. From personal experience all I have to say is if you can avoid it don't bother. Unfortunately this is seemingly the only way to receive help with food, heat, among other things.

  I am in a bad way and unfortunately applied for temporary help food on line and have been bullied, interrogated, and declined benefits during phone conversations with income of approx. $400 a month. I brought a pile of documented proof to the office and sat there for 2.5 hours waiting to meet with worker's manager who called me on a PUBLIC phone in a room filled with people and refused to meet with me and instead questioned me excessively on my future ability to earn money. This office needs to be reported to NYS and I am pursuing a formal complaint as I have been declined benefits completely unjustified. It is humiliating enough to have to apply for help and to be treated like an animal is disgusting.
