  Had an awesome, quick but substantial breakfast this morning. I also got a good laugh watching a 4 year old get a lesson on pancake making from the touch-one-button conveyer-style pancake making machine. He sounded more amazed than kids that I've taken to the zoo, lol! The breakfast area was very well maintained, and the woman tending the food was very sweet and non-stop with refilling things. The room itself is very neat, clean and comfortable. I love the ice cream vending machines on the floors. A late night snack is only steps away. Plus my calzone was delivered to my door last night by Davanni's Pizza, so I'm feeling spoiled right now.

  I stayed here in September 2017. I thought this place was great until I figured out that the front desk clerk is a THIEF!!!! Someone scanned my credit card 💳 and took that card to a outdated swipe machine in Roseville Minnesota at a Holiday gas station and swiped it for $177.00 in beer and cigarettes. When you get home from this hotel, CANCEL YOUR CARD IMMEDIATELY!!!

  First off, all the staff that I encountered here had been fantastic. Great customer service. The only suggestion I would have is to make sure there not double charg your card like they did for me, but had it fixed. The building is in need of some work. Yesterday, December 31st, 2017 was the Viking and Bear game which was great. I left the hotel at 11am. which the train transit is very close, got back at 3, maybe 3:30pm. I had not left the hotel after that as I had started to enjoy the last of 2017. I was not informed of a pipe burst resulting in my water being turned off in my room. I didn't find out until I flushed the toilet at about 10:30pm. 7 hours I was in the hotel with no knowledge of me not having any water. After I contacted front desk they said well your checking out tomorrow correct, I said yes and was told the job is going to take several days to fix. Now for me, I paid good money to sleep here, I'd expect at least my water to be working. This is not the only thing that was broke. The heater in my room is due for maintenance. When I came into the room it was very cold. Also the smoke detector was on the floor. The window had such a bad leak out of it that ice is built up on the bottom. The TV remote was broke and so was one of my keys. Now on the size of the room for 2 people is kind of on the smaller side. Has a basic desk and chair, a slightly bigger chair, and a queen. No microwave. There is a coffee pot but was afraid to use. Bathroom is a small doorway, bathroom is a bathroom size, but to get through door was weird. It had all the right amounts of towels, rags, soaps and shampoos but with no water, you can guess how much I really used. They do offer a breakfast which is ok. I just ate yogurt. I have pictures and a video I will be posting.

  The staff was very nice. The shuttle is a great service. The location to the university is perfect. The hotel needs a makeover, updated, remodel. I wouldn’t touch the carpet without socks or slippers. Not clean Great Staff
