  Coolsculpting works! I work out and eat pretty healthy, but as I get older, it gets harder to loss fat in certain areas. I started off with my stomach pooch. In 2 months I saw noticeable results. My pooch was smaller! It worked so well that I had several other areas treated with Coolsculpting, and again with good results. The treatment itself doesn't hurt at all and no recovery time! I highly recommend it.

  I had a great experience with Dr David Yew and his friendly office staff at Aesthetics Hawaii. His office is conveniently located in Honolulu at the Ala Moana Medical Building. I had Kybella injected about 2 months ago but wanted to wait for the results before writing a review. Kybella is an FDA approved injectable treatment that would get reduce the size of my "double chin". I'm only 53 (140lbs, 5'5") and no matter how much exercise I do I can't seem to get rid of this stubborn fat under my chin. I didn't want to do surgery as I think I'm too young for that. Dr Yew was very informative and set realistic expectations that it would take time for the fat to dissolve and to expect some swelling and numbness over several weeks. No bruising. It's been about 8 weeks since my first treatment and I can see my double chin has almost disappeared. I'm writing a follow-up to my original review. I had my first CoolSculpting procedure 6 weeks ago. The makers of Kybella also do CoolSculpting. I used it for my abdomen and flank which were bothering me. I work out and exercise but I still have these "love handles" which my wife calls it. They used 2 machine at the same time - called DualSculpting. It's basically 2 CoolSculpting machines taking care of both sides at once. The procedure was very easy as they applied gel and then a device that gave an instant cooling sensation. 20 minutes later - they removed the applicator and they massaged the area. It wasn't painful - just felt cold in the beginning. But after a minute - you get used to it and then I started checking emails on my phone. There was NO Downtime! There was some numbness and that is to be expected. After several weeks - the numbness went away and so did 25% of my fat in that area. This is permanently gone. I'm looking forward to coming back for another treatment.

  Vampire Facial with Liquid Gold! Last week I went in to see Tanya for another microneedling session. She recommended adding platelet rich plasma to the treatment; so she ended up drawing my blood, spinning it and using the PRP that was separated at the top. She also had numbed me twice for extra comfort. I put on the numbing cream for 20 minutes washed it off, then put it on again for another 20 minutes. The whole treatment was really educational and she made me feel at ease as she described what she was doing and the sensation I was feeling. The feeling of the microneedling at first is a little startling because of the noise and pressure but It really isn't bad at all. Id give it a 4 out of 10 and the treatment lasted less than half an hour. At the end of the treatment my face felt taut from the PRP she told me to keep it on for 5 hours and gave me all the post treatment recommendations. My face was normal within three days; I'm usually pretty red and puffy for at least 5 to 7 days! Less downtime than I've ever had with the dermapen, thanks to the PRP! And with the oxygenetix foundation she gave me (my color is creme) there was zero downtime! Typically I don't want to put on ANYTHING after my microneedling treatments but this stuff I slathered on because it felt so soothing and covered up any trace of redness! It has aloe, antimicrobial, and mineral sunscreen! So lucky to have found this place and appreciate all the knowledge they share about treatment as well as amazing results based treatments! Thank you Tanya! I have never received so many compliments on my skin!

  Another visit with Dr. Yew! This time, the Physician Associate, Amy Biggs, treated me. I was definitely apprehensive but she exceeded my expectations! She has 11 years of experience and is a national trainer for cosmetic injectables; I knew I was in good hands. She used dysport on my masseters as well as my crow’s feet. I always get small red bumps at the injections site, but this time, Amy used Oxygenetix to cover those up. It is a light cover up/foundation that also has SPF and antimicrobial! She color matched me as Crème. I decided to buy it even though I love the foundation I was currently using. But after switching to Oxygenetix my skin has less breakouts! She also introduced me to the ZO product line. I had been using Obagi Clenziderm and decided to try the ZO skin health. I purchased the exfoliating cleanser, exfoliating polish, and the acne control pads. After two weeks of using these products I already see a major improvement in my complexion. My favorite product is the exfoliating polish. It is a bit gritty but really take away the dead skin! I always love going to Aesthetics Hawaii, but these new products have made me love this place even more!

  Phenomenal experience with Aesthetics Hawaii at their Honolulu location. I was treated by Dr. David Yew. I'm 28 years old and it was my first time for Botox. The staff was pleasantly welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. I was also impressed with how knowledgable they were about procedures and all the products they carry. Customer service at Aesthetics Hawaii is top notch. The office was modern, stylish and very clean. Parking is free and easy at Ala Moana. But now for the important part, what I found that set Aesthetics Hawaii apart from other offices was their tailored consultation that focused on the aging process which gave me an overall plan that took into account budget and realistic expectations. The integrity in the staff stood out to me most and made me confident that I was being cared for by a honest, caring staff that also clearly had good taste. I learned so much and felt I was being genuinely cared for. Their business philosophy was obvious: "Treat others the way you want to be treated." My first visit was focused on doing dysport (botox) in my masseter muscles. I have noticed my face has gotten much wider as I've gotten older and instead of a “V” shape - it now looks more “U" like. It’s been just 3 weeks since my treatment and I now have less clenching, headache and my face looks slimmer like a "V"! I’m so relieved I found this place and looking forward to future visits. Dr.Yew is an artist and a master of his craft.
