  Dr Zorub is a gifted surgeon who has restored my ability to walk twice. Both times my recovery was better quicker than averaage. He is no nonsence but very approachable type of man. He may appear a bit tough but truely has alot of compassion and cares about people. He gives freely and helps people that are in need and worthy expecting nothing in return. I would recommend him to all who are in need of his skill. The aforementioned was just after surgery. Now things have changed. 90 days later David Zourb has officially discharged me. The man acts like he is above common man. He has called me an ape for not being able to stand erect. Objectively speaking he said there is nothing wrong with you but I simply cant stand straight and tall without bad pain. Can't walk a city block without aid. He had ordered an EMG on my arm then yelled at me for not getting my leg tested. He wrote orders for wrong body part! Next he ordered meds that are not sold at UPMC pharmacy Hillman. Told me go to CVS then called police when I questioned him. Rather than finish with my treatment plan and helping me he just gave up. I have never met anyone so arrogant and self centered. I believe age has ruined his ability to heal. He can't admit that his day is done just as I cant give up walking. If you are his patient get another opinion. If thinking of utilizing his service STOP go elsewhere. The surgeon I see now said my spine is so deteriorated he can't do much or see a benefit from more surgery. Who does a man believe ? Looks like my plan has become pray. Live with it. Change everything about daily living. Get use to being alone. No-one wants to be around a miserable cripple. Thanks U.P.M.C. RON PALOUCHA. and DAVID ZOURB For ruining life for me. I will address you as DR. when you act accordingly.

  Not nice!! Made me worse. Finally saw Dr Kang who had to undo everything Zorub did. If I could give him less than 1 star I would!!

  Worst doctor I've ever been to. After almost a month of dealing with back pain and numbness in in my feet in legs I went to see him. The entire time he degradedne and accused me of being some kind of "junkie". Even though I never asked nor mentioned him prescribing me anything.Kept saying nothing was wrong with me. After leaving his office I scheduled and appt with another neuro surgeon, who found out I had two nerves severely pinched in my back. If I could give negative stars, he would get as many as I could give.
