  My family has been going here for years. Yes, we do have to schedule our appointments in advance, however this is due to the office being very busy. I take this as a good sign. They have been able to get me in quickly for emergencies (and trust me, I've had some). Always have a great visit. Highly recommend dr. Brown and dr. elam. They also take insurance of every kind and I've never had to worry about a thing when it comes to that.

  I was excited to see and have a family dentist. The hygienist was wonderful, and my plan was set into place after my first appointment. They called me a few days before my 3-hour appointment to cancel my appointment because there was an issue with my Insurance. I called my insurance, and there was an enrollment issue that occurred but I was able to take care of it quickly, and it was not my fault at all. The Dental office did not trust that and wanted to cancel the appt and/or I paid in full even though I had my half of the money ready. They also did not want to wait the 45 days for the insurance to pay them for my first appointment, which I had asked them to re-file it, since the issue was fixed, the supervisor did not want to and made a point to say "we only file the claims out of courtesy" along with suggesting that I paid in full and my insurance paid me back. That right there, means they just care about the money, not the patients. We ended up canceling the appointment because I was scared they would try to charge me more than what I should be charged and I would not be able to come back 3 weeks late to get my crown on. Needless to say, I am unable to get a phone call back from them and had to go to an emergency dental place to get a tooth pulled & a bad cavity filled, which.. My insurance paid in full.

  It has gotten too difficult to get an appointment. After 9 minutes on the phone, I was unable to get an appointment for my son within the next 5 months. His availability is limited to 2 afternoons a week because of work & school, but he has been a long-term patient, so this is unacceptable. Also, I kept being asked to hold and the phone call was very frustrating. - Linda Stevenson

  I am terrified of dentists and this is the best place I have been and made me feel safe and in great hands. Elam is amazing.

  After relocating last summer, I was in search of a dentist that was thorough and professional and close to home. Dr. Brown and Dr. Elam and their staff met these requirements, and then some! My cleanings are quick yet thorough, which is a must with a little one in tow. The front desk staff was also very accommodating when I had to change an appointment and they called to let me know of a last-minute opening. Highly recommend!
