  Dr. Wood and his staff are the best! So nice and helpful! I had an incident with a tooth, and it took several different visits. The staff was amazing and worked around my work schedule to get me taken care of. With a tooth injury I was really nervous to say the least. Dr. Wood and the staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed through the whole process. After this process I have switched to Dr. Wood as my dentist. I drive 1 hour and 15 min. to his office and it is totally worth it! Highly recommend them!

  Nothing was so unexpected then getting to school getting my son and seeing his tooth ADULT tooth at that was broken. So many emotions as I discovered this. First was to elevate the pain that was caused by nerve exposure. I did NOT want to go to the ER. Thankfully David Wood and David C. Wood Family & Cosmetic Dentistry was able to get us in. The reception was so empathic and understanding with urgency. Seeing he was a minor and elementary they were fast to let me know the dentist would see him and when I expressed distance they assured me no it was ok. The dentist and staff would wait and get me in right away. I accepted this humble opening. Immediately they didn't ask how it happened they asked my son not me but my son "hey buddy are you ok how is the pain?" He answered but not even waiting 1 minute before I could even get my other two situated in the waiting room they called my son back. The dental assistant immediately asked my son how his pain felt before doing X-rays and that meant the world as a mom their priority wasn't how it happened it was to ensure his pain was subsided. When she heard from him and not me and felt assured that it was ok she followed necessary protocol to adhere his x-rays. Dr. Wood was so understanding he didn't pass judgement to me. He was personalable in understanding my childs perspective but as well as myself. When Dr. Wood saw my sons fracture he thought first how to fix what was present and assured me that we could bond the existing tooth with the saved broken fragment. He didn't brush us off. He first told my son what his plan was made sure my child understood to elevate fear of actions before ever checking with me which led me to know he cares. He talked to my child in his vocabulary and assured him every step that was going to be done. Due to having other children I needed to adhere in the waiting room I was comfortable to leave my child in the chair and left. When my son came out he told me what the dentist said and it was precise to instructions that the Dentist told me. I knew in that moment my child understood the severity of instructions. It was a gift I was thankful for that the dentist was able to relay in a way a child can comprehend. My son went to school and I had no hesitation that he would follow instructions of myself because he said ,"I know Dr. Wood told me mom." Whether you need a cleaning or you need cosmetic care this practice is one I highly recommend solely on the personable communication of a child to affirm the adult instructions. He made my life easier by really speaking to my child where he understands. I also have high respect that the practice has dental assistants that are truly valued in their patients regardless of age they were more concerned with my child and his limited vocalizations then me as a parent advocating and that speaks volumes. This is not just a great dentist but this is an amazing practice a dentist who has assistants who care and display knowledge of concern as priority for the patient regardless of age.

  I recently found this practice at the beginning of 2022, they are phenomenal (I should mention I hate going to the dentist and hadn't been for years) and recently went in for a semiannual teeth cleaning. The facility is very clean and comfortable, in general, from waiting and reception area back through the hygienist and patient area. Every single staff member I have met is friendly, patient, and thorough. I feel that I'm getting a really good assessment of my dental health and that they are looking out for what's best for me. Their normal procedure seems to be an assessment of your teeth, gums, full cleaning etc. as part of their teeth cleaning process; honestly I feel like I'd never received this experience with a dentist office, even for something as basic as cleaning. 100% Recommend.

  Office staff so nice!! The dentist is frightening but walking in here makes you feel a little calmer. Very clean office and everyone so well put together. Dr. Wood is very nice and detailed about your care. They know your name as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend them.
