  Last Saturday i celebrated my 60th birthday at a hall and had Daisy's taste of Cuba cater my event...it was great...we had pernil, fricase de pollo, ropa vieja, arroz moro ,arroz amarillo, yuca,and maduros... The guests loved the food...it was delicious...very little leftovers...it was that good!!!! If you need a caterer, snd want to bring a taste of Cuba to your party...call on Daisy...you won't regret it😀

  A food truck parlaying their skills into a nice corner cafe. I always loved getting food from the truck in Garwood, and was excited to hear they were opening their own restaurant in Westfield. I had my birthday dinner there during the soft opening. They were kind enough to accommodate our party of 8, and I'm so glad they did. The service was good and the food was phenomenal. We started with multiple orders of Croquetas de Jamon for the table and they were filled with just the right out of ham. I ordered the Churrasco a La Cubana (grilled Angus sk8rt steak with chimichurri sauce) as an entree (as did others in my party) and it did not disappoint. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly and not overly smothered in chimichurri sauce. It truly hit the spot. Others order the Lechon Asada (marinated roast pork) and it was equally as good; as was the Ropa Vieja (shredded flank steak in a red sauce). The evening was finished with Tres Leche cake and the singing of "Happy Birthday" by a group of people that should probably not be singing (though it was still great). So, if your looking for tasty food with appropriate portions in a non-pretentious and comfortable atmosphere, Daisy's Taste of Cuba Cafe is for you.

  Their new location is great and customer service is on point. By the way, it’s BYOB so what more can you ask for. They have friendly customer service and they treat you like you’re their family.

  Daisy and her staff are some of the friendliest people I have ever met... their food and service are incredible! I'm more than happy to stop by and grab my favorite Cuban dish multiple times each week!
