This will be an interesting review. The people are so nice at Dada (except the manager Wayne). I was too shocked at the terrible color and bang trim to say I hated it when I was at the salon and they were complimenting how wonderful I looked. How am I supposed to say I hate it when everyone is saying how nice I look? When I called back the next day to speak to the manager- he starts an argument with me right away stating several times that I don't know what bayalage is.... Almost like I am not the first to complain here is what happened. I asked the stylist to bring up my bayalage, which was very grown out with my natural hair. She asked me if I wanted it Painted or foiled and she said foils would make it pop more. I told her foils because I like that unnatural look. And I told her that I did not want blonde in my bangs when she asked specifically... And now there is blonde in my bangs. Instead of bayalage, she highlight foils my hair without using bayalage painting techniques within the foils. As you can see in my picture she did highlights!!! If I wanted highlights, it would have even been bad. She highlighted the hair right around my face. And I later found out it was the front desk girl doing my hair...She seemed pretty unsure about every step of this process. When she mixed the color she seemed unsure which ones to pick - they have their color room in front of clients. She only used half the amount of olaplex she should have to add to the color. Then when I got my olaplex mask she left it on for maybe 5 minutes when it should be left for 20 min or longer- which I paid extra for. She cut my bangs without straightening them and then cut them uneven. She seemed unsure with the scissors. And as you can see I have random crappy and uneven pieces. I'm not a stylist, but I know the difference between bayalage and highlights and I don't need a manager to argue with me about that or about how bad the stylist cut my bangs. Now I am going to have to dye it with brown on my natural color to get it back to bayalage. :(:(:(:( Don't bother with dada they will kill you with kindness to cover up their mistakes. They refunded $35 of my $195 spent with tip stating that was the difference between highlight and bayalage or I could come back and have them do my hair complementary. NO THANK YOU!!!!! Don't go to dada!!!
