Unfortunately whoever is employed there around the lunch break for business employees fails to serve the clientele appropriately. Corporate should visit this site, because an off-duty CVS employee from another location was willing to help as the actually lady getting paid as a cashier gladly remained lazy and unwilling to help customers. I have experience using their self checkout machines at another location a few blocks away. But had to void my transaction completely and slow down the check out when it was attempting to help a homeless person check out since the attended wouldn't take him directly to the cashier. So instead of acting as a cashier herself she just directed people to the self checkout several of them had issues paying in cash as only two of the three open self checkout kiosk could handle that form of payment. The 4th broken self checkout kiosk didn't have a sign on it saying that it was broken, instead the cashier lady who pointed and directed but didn't help at all, especially when customers were either slow down or needed to use cash or go back to insert there extra care card for CVS, just verbally told people it was broken instead of going through two seconds to write and out of order sign to help clarify her malfunctioning check outs. The corporate office should absolutely check who they employ. They should visit this location and retrain their staff. In this store, if one person needs to be attending to the self checkout kiosk another person needs to be able to handle the cashier desk, then there should be 2 cashiers on the floor in a busy Friday. And the woman who is completely worthless should be fired for her inability to fulfill the terms of her employ at CVS at 2 p.m. on a busy Friday afternoon in Farragut Square around a huge DC business district when one would think would be a rather large business population to service.

Items are not shelved properly here and the line moves extremely slowly. I wanted to buy a nail clipper but ended up with one roughly double the price listed on the shelf. After 5 minutes in the regular checkout line, with only one person in front of me, a staff member said "I can help you over here" and, increased of bringing me to a register brought me to the back of a line for automated kiosks. When I waited another 5 minutes through this second line and discovering the pricing discrepancy, employees on the floor, including the one who brought me to the second line, refused to come address the price discrepancy at the kiosk This was at 2:30 on a Thursday - so not "peak" hours by any measure. I'm a fan of CVS in general, and I'm not sure if it's an issue with this store or just the people on shift, but the service was abysmal here.

I work about a block away anthere are about 3 other CVSs within 2 a block. I am so use to going in CVS and just getting rung up for whatever I pick up. OMG but i go to ONLY this one; everyone greets you with a smile, they are not pushy or watch you like a hawk and they ask if you need help finding anything and will go in the back to double check if its not on the shelf. I WAS SURPRISED my first few visits. EVERYONE seems so cool and ready to help you and my biggest thumbs up to them for honoring ALL their coupons even if expired they allow you to redeem them!!!!! I have been to other CVSs that will turn my coupons away if i am short 5 cents short on the threshold or the coupon has expired. THIS CVSs JUST SMILEs AND HONORs ALL MY COUPONS!!!! I would give them 6 stars if i could because the great management here shows and i get great deals with using my coupons here.
