  Giving cutthroat a one star merely because I was able to sit through the cut, or I’d rate it lower. You’d think that for a steep price of $35 you’d get a dedicated barber along with a friendly staff and an A+ haircut, but clearly I was wrong. The welcoming was very cold hearted and my barber was not at all friendly or communicative. Time was not dedicated to my haircut, rather I was rushed out with a “push and a shove” to be able to continue with the next customer. I asked for a particular cut but he insisted that he knew what was better for me and I ended up unhappy with my haircut but I didn’t argue since I didn’t want to stay any longer. Worst haircut of my life.

  Booked a haircut towards the end of the day, and felt extremely rushed. Was not asked if I wanted a beverage, did not wash out my hair before the cut or even style it afterwards. I had asked for a trim and left thinking I needed to go somewhere else to get a real haircut. I think I was in and out in less than fifteen minutes. Not trying to be harsh, but for the price you should have a much better experience. Otherwise, vibe was cool.

  Good location in the Heights but I've had better shaves/beard trims elsewhere.

  All of the staff seems really cool and appear to do a great job. The guy who I have cut my hair is awesome, I pretty much just let him do whatever he wants and I am never disappointed.

  Perhaps one of the worst customer service experiences I can they recall. The long and short of it, I attempted to book an appointment by phone on numerous occasions without an answer, I left a voicemail to book an appointment and it wasn't returned, I booked an appointment online and due to family coming into town for the holidays, I went online to reschedule the appointment for a later time on the following day, the website didn't work properly and I couldn't reschedule. After missing the appointment that I tried to reschedule numerous times, my credit card was charged $55. I called this location yet again, and finally spoke with a human being, explained my situation, even offered to eat the $55 charge for a discount on a new appointment -!: was told, "I will talk to the barber and get back to you." As you've probably guessed, no one ever contacted me, Cutthroats took my money, and I'm certain if they respond to this post, they'll point to their "no-call/no-show" policy, despite the fact that it's nearly impossible based on my experience to call or contact anyone at cutthroats and get a response. 1 star. (You've earned it).
