Searching for somewhere cute to have s drink and a snack I stumbled across Cru. We came in during Happy Hour and were immediately impressed with the beautiful decor and simple elegance of the restaurant. Happy Hour was just starting and we had an extremely helpful bartender (Ashleigh?) who steered us towards which wines might be to our taste. We ordered a flight of reds and then another two glasses each of one of the wines (it was so good!) plus some of their fried cheese bites and a pizza. My partner and I were also lucky enough to have a big chat to the Head Chef! Cru is definitely somewhere I hope to return if I head to Dallas again, the food was lovely, the wine was incredible and the staff were so attentive and incredibly friendly!

Went to CRU about 2 weeks ago, I really enjoyed my experience here. We ended up sitting outside and it was very beautiful. The lighting and the whole atmosphere was great. They a pretty good selection of wine as well as Italian food to eat.

A wine bar with enthusiasm and range. Great selection of by the glass, as well as an extensive menu. Their three wine flights mean you can have a good variety even if you're just doing in for lunch. They also showcase some fantastic local cheeses and have a great pizza selection to match their wine list.

This is a chain, so it isn’t unique from other Cru restaurants we’ve been to. The corporate website it weak on individual locations, so here is what I can document from 2018. Thursday night is half price bottle of champagne night all night long. Monday to Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 they have a happy hour. The glasses and flights are $3 off. The bar bites are cheaper, but I know the sizes are smaller so that aren’t that big of a deal.
