  The hotel looks fancier in pictures. The reality is a little different. It has not been well maintained. The elevators are dirty, the rooms are not so clean. The service was top notch though. But for a 3star/ 4 star hotel, this is no where close to that. 3 star review was a reach. If you want a cheap stay and don't want to stay at a motel, this is your place. If you want a place to relax, this is DEFINITELY not the place

  Disappointing experience. It’s surprising this an IHG hotel! I stayed for two weeks as this was the housing provided by my company. I realized on the second day that the reason it was so cold in my room was that the climate control was not working properly. I requested maintenance sometime around 10:45 PM and was told someone would be by shortly. An hour later I called back, and the front desk said they thought someone had already taken care of it, and they’d send maintenance again. Someone did arrive, and they got the heat working, but needed to open the air rerun cover and remove the filter, which ended up leaving debris all over the counters and floor in the area. The sink has almost no water pressure and when I washed out my reusable cups and flatware, it left a gritty texture behind- hard water? Everything will need to be washed again. The four elevators did not all work, and there were several large groups at the hotel. Sadly, the stairs were not useable to get to floors with rooms, so we had to wait in long lines in the lobby and upstairs, sometimes as long as 10 to 30 minutes, to get up to rooms or exit the hotel. The guest laundry dryer was limited to 30 minutes, but took 3 cycles of 30 minutes to dry a load. There were multiple incidents requiring police and fire services to respond- a fight in the lobby where one woman was pepper sprayed by hotel security and required police, a party that ended in fights and multiple teenagers being zip tied and removed by police, and I don’t know why the fire department came. There were also multiple loud parties that were not quieted by hotel staff in this time. With everything else, maybe they were concerned for their own safety? I would steer clear of this hotel if you would like a clean stay, facilities in good repair, and the ability to sleep in peace and feel safe.

  The only reason I did not give it 5 stars on rooms is bc the faucet water pressure isn't great & the drains need to be cleared, but the staff has been 100% amazing. They accommodated everything we needed (early check in, payment method mix up & an extension on our stay) seamlessly. The staff genuinely just seemed happy to see us and I appreciate that so much.

  I stayed here for a night in April when my flight got canceled due to staff shortage. The airline got me the hotel, and I was told it would be “a nice hotel.” Twas NOT. It’s a very old building, you can tell from the lobby/elevator before you even get to your room. Very dimly lit hallways create an eerie setting especially for someone traveling in a city they don’t know alone. Get to the room and I’m immediately greeted by a roach. And then another. I scream, cry, and go back downstairs. There was no way I was going to stay in that room. They changed my room to about 11 floors up. The room overall still felt unclean, and I was constantly worried that more “roommates” would show up. I couldn’t sleep well at all. Twas definitely my worst experience at a hotel in my entire life. Hopefully I never have to experience anything worse.

  Well located in the heart of downtown Dallas. It is easy to walk anywhere downtown. The minus star is for not telling guests that there is a $20 fee for parking, which adds to the price of the stay that you may choose another place. Also we added the guest and charged but had to go to the desk several times. Breakfast may or may not be included. Breakfast and the atmosphere is nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall I would stay again.
