Very nice atmosphere, despite being super busy when I went! Great service, and even better ice cream. Definitely a Saint Louis gotta see!

This retro diner makes you slip back to 1950 with its classic booths, and the food is straight forward American basics -- done exceptionally well: burgers, malts, and their specialty... a BLT with 1 lb. of bacon. Fan-tastic! It's so popular there's a line 30 people deep at opening, and there is limited seating, so get there early!

Historical candy shop and diner... has variety of homemade candies, malts and shakes, cones and sundaes, sandwiches and such. Seating is seat yourself, but there is a line for seating most days. Booths fit 4 adults max, with some having room for a highchair on the end. Several booths have seating just for 2. Because of limited seating and always growing line, you do not come here to sit and visit... it is just "order, eat and then move on". Highly recommend. Staff is very nice and helpful.

You have to try their BLT, not for the faint of heart or those who are on a diet. It's stacked with bacon. Also you have to try their shakes & malts OMG they are so good. This place is a throwback to simpler times when you could go to the local soda shop for shakes & malts. With the added bonus of Easter chocolate at that time of year. A real gem in St. Louis!

What an interesting place. Had a BLT that was amazing and service was great. I also had a vanilla malt that was incredible. What a fun place to visit. I also had to buy 2 different kinds of candy to take with us. We will definitely go back. So many other things I want to try.
