  I can't say that I tried a lot of what they had to offer at Croissant D'Or. But that's just cos I have food allergies. I met friends there and they seemed pleased enough, though hardly awed. Counter lady was sweet, place was clean, and it was cute, so it gets props for that. We ordered a few sweets, some coffee and Orangina. Basic stuff, so I can hardly give a real overview of what they can do. But the spot was convenient to meet up with friends. Prices are what you'd expect for the area, and they have an outdoor courtyard and an ATM. Interestingly enough, I was there in the morning and when I happened to walk past the place that evening (when my night of eating and drinking was complete), there was a homeless person crashed out asleep in the same doorway I'd used that morning. That's some big city irony.

  This place has some of the best pastries! Their opera cake is delicious and they have such good breakfast too. Their courtyard is pet friendly, so bring your four legged friend along!

  My Lord in Heaven Above, the sheer sanctimonious selection and spread will knock you off your feet... Onto the beautifully tiled floor perhaps! The pastries are all exquisite here, I challenge you to have a warmed chocolate croissant and resist the compulsion to buy 2 more on your way out. The prices are fair id say and the quality is truly peak pastry. Did I mention the selection?! XD

  Perfect, fresh made croissants. The other pastries are phenomenal as well. Excellent place for a coffee in the morning. Dog friendly courtyard as well.

  Pricey but to be expected given the area and tourist foot traffic. The bright orange trays and brown plastic cups seem kind of out of place with the look and vibe they're otherwise trying to give off. It's like air French bakery meets cafeteria. I like the sunny, bright interior with nice window nook tables for two. Food was good, but I only had breakfast pastries and nothing sweet. They provide their WiFi password on every table, which is strange. Overall it's fine. Nothing earth-shattering and could use some refining, but it also works as is. Will probably come back to try a dessert.
