::I’ve had a lot of good breakfast in my life. It’s my favorite meal. So I can comfortably say that this is up there with the top three best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious, consistent, perfectly cooked, and seasoned well. I just ate the leftovers and it was literally as delicious as it was out of the kitchen. Also the service was great. I’ll be making the trek back out here to enjoy more treats from here!

::One of my favorite cafes for breakfast in Portland. It's laid-back and comfortable. Went here the day after Hood To Coast and had one of their omelettes. It was incredible (and I told myself I deserved all the calories of the gravy). Highly recommended!

::Had the fancy Bennie - eggs Benedict with prosciutto. Delicious, and large portion. Friend had a skillet which also looked delicious and large portion. Small venue, so could be a wait. We were 7 people and arrived at 8:30 on a Sunday, we had our table around 8:55.

::It is really packed when we went and kind of hard to hear. However the food was really good. Especially their Jam. It was life changing. I put it on my toast. I put it on my french toast. I put it on my potatoes. I put it on my eggs. Seriously. It was good Jam.

::Wet to the reopened Cricket Cafe today and received absolutely superb service from the wait staff. The new menu kept a couple of the good items, such as the Rising Sun. It added some good new items. I was very happy that they had no problem and customizing my order. The item I wanted, I forget the name, was a 4 egg omelette that had the hash browns on the inside and was covered with pork gravy. I asked to have the hash browns on the outside, and to hold the gravy, and was told no problem. The potatoes were great and I was happy they were on the outside so I could enjoy them with the aardvark hot sauce that is provided on each table. Even though the list of sides and Extras did not include A1 pancake option, I asked if I could add one pancake to my order, and to make it a blueberry pancake and was gladly accommodated. The pancake was light and fluffy, and bursting with wonderful juicy blueberries. I had my coffee cup refilled about five times. They constantly checked in to make sure that everything was good. I give it 5 stars, and I think the new owners will succeed. Everyone in the neighborhood and from Beyond could visit the reopened Cricket Cafe!
