  STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM CREDIT ONE!! I beg you! They are scammers, plain and simple. When I was pre-approved for a card, I was desperate financially and decided to accept, as bad as that sounds. I decided to give Credit One a chance despite reading bad reviews. Well, I shouldn’t have. All the reviews are true. The annual is insanely high, and the minimum jumps from $25-$75 without any sort of notice or warning. They CHARGE YOU to express a payment. If your payment is late, you get whacked with fees. Getting through to somebody on the phone is HELL!!! Took me an hour just to get somebody. The person I spoke to wasn’t terribly rude, but tried way too hard to get me to keep the card, which I happily cancelled today. I got lucky, but from what I hear canceling is a huge nightmare. These scumbags prey on people that are trying to rebuild credit or establish it and it’s sickening. Get a Capital One secures Mastercard instead! They are an amazing bank that truly helps it’s customers. No matter how desperate you are, DO NOT GET A CREDIT ONE CARD!!!

  Worst credit card of all time will charge you for any possible reason including an expired one no one speaks English not to mention I was hung up on 3 times and at that point screaming at them to cancel the service of the card newt in my life have I ever had to deal with such incompetence. A complete waste of time avoid at all cost

  Probably the worst people you could ever deal with. Never pay on the due date. The policy is if paid by 2:00 pm PST it will post the same day. Apparently, they don’t know what PST means. You’ll still be charged a late fee. Calling customer service will only frustrate you more. They barely speak English and obviously don’t understand it either. Fees fees fees. They will fee you to death. Not worth the hassle.

  Credit One's original company appears to be Manhattan Processing. Do not use this credit card company. Trust me. Better to take a year to raise your credit score and get a card with a more reputable company.

  I just paid off my account with this bank. All I can say is Thank God I am done with this bank. This bank is border line a SCAM! The only card I have that charges 10.00 to make a payment by phone. When I attempted to pay by check to avoid a fee, they claimed they did not receive payment. When I payed online to avoid a fee, they returned payment due to wrong account number go figure, and closed my card out without even attempting to notify me. I am so glad to be done with them. Ill stick with Capitol one, and Premier! 1 STAR because I have to in order to make this post.
