Absolutely delicious food! Love the country ham breakfast and the fried okra. Reasonable prices and super friendly service. First choice for me for simply good food.

The Wait is long as usual. Hostess staff has alot to be desired, being your front line for customers, they should be friendly, happy, outgoing.. Definitely not the case the past few times we have been. Even making comments about how many patrons keep coming in the door.. Isn't that a good thing?? Lots of empty tables, lots of wait staff.. Not sure why the wait was 40 min for a table that was open from the time we walked in. If you can get past the welcoming entrance.. Food never disappoints!

Sooooo about Cracker Barrel. From its warm and welcoming entrance to the warm fire on a cold day. I like to go on Wednesdays with the family and get the special. Not going to say what it is because you should find out for yourself. :) I'll give you a hint and say there's chicken. I honestly like coming here, so do old people but that's a sure indication there's good food. With age comes wisdom and they know what's good! Hey but seriously, go be loved in a wonderful atmosphere and try the goo goo clusters before they're gone. Sorry I don't have pics, I wasn't thinking about it. The food is appealing!

We arrived shortly after 3. Service was the worst I've ever experienced. Took a long time to get our iced teas. Took almost an hour to get our food and we didn't order anything unusual. I asked for my turnip greens to be well drained; they weren't. I had asked for vinegar when I first ordered. After a manager came out and told me the Easter diners must have used all the vinegar he offered me hot pepper vinegar, which I didn't want. Long after my turnip greens were cold, he bought vinegar out in a little cup but not the usual vinegar container they use. My husband ordered fries with his meal and he had completely finished his entree before they brought his fries. He had to ask for them no less than 4 times. When they first brought biscuits, they only brought 2 for 3 people. We had to ask for more biscuits. My friend and I had ordered identical meals. They didn't bring the Brussels sprouts salad. I asked for mine and they didn't bring one to my friend so we had to ask again. Getting iced tea refills was difficult. We were well behaved and our table was close to the kitchen. We had no less than 4 different people waiting on us and one didn't know what the other was doing. BTW we went there just after 3pm and were seated immediately. This was not up to Cracker Barrel standards by a long shot. Food was good when we were able to get all of it; service was terrible.

Went there for my birthday and ordered the dinner special, so did myself wife. My kids ordered the hamburger steak and the sampler special. The cod fillets were over breaded and over cooked, hardly any fish and any flavor. The hamburger steak was over cooked and tough android then meatloaf wasn't good at all. We were very disappointed because usually they're fairly good. The waitress wasn't better either. We all left a lot of food on our plates and she didn't even ask if everything was okay. 60 bucks for a dinner wasn't worth it. Should of told a manager but we had a 2 year old with and just wanted to get out of there. May not go back.
